I used to be with Allstate for many years until I called AAA one day for a quote. Ive been with them ever since I am saving over $500 a year on my auto insurance alone.

For years I have been a member of the Auto Club and never really considered switching my insurance coverage over to them. That was a move I should have made when I joined years ago.

From my experience, I have found that AAA staff is unprofessional and they don't seem to be very intelligent and when it comes down to it, they are just thieves. Save yourself some headaches and go somewhere else.

My parents were with AAA so when I went off on my own, I became a member myself. Everything was great until they started raising my rates so high that I couldn't afford it anymore. The perks and benefits just don't make it worth the cost anymore.

Whenever I talk about AAA insurance, it's always something good. They have certainly set the bar high. They have so many perks that I actually use, and their rates can't be beat!

I don't have anything bad to say about AAA, but the fact is that everytime I have shopped around for rates, they are never the lowest - or even close to it! I don't use my vehicle often, so the chance of me ever needing to file a claim is low. Why waste the extra money on a policy you will probably never file a claim against?

I recently moved for my husbands job and we needed to get new auto insurance. We had a very small, local company before we moved. I was very hesitant to get such a well known company because I felt like that would translate to less customer service and personal interactions. We couldn't find any reputable small-name companies in our area, so we went with AAA. A year later, and we're happy customers. They haven't given us a reason to complain, and their customer service is superb.

I'm a bargain hunter when it comes to things like insurance. I've come to the conclusion that I can get auto insurance at a cheaper rate through other companies, but AAA offers the best prices on homeowners. Since I have both through them, I figure it evens out in the end. Since they've been pretty good to me and haven't raised my premiums after filing a claim, I still feel like they are my best bet for auto insurance.

I got into an accident and AAA failed to compensate me for what my car's damages were worth. I've had other insurance companies before that would at least try to come close, but AAA didn't try. I couldn't cover the rest of the expenses so I was without my personal vehicle for a few months. Fortunately, I live in a major city so public transportation to my work is just a few blocks away, but they did make it inconvenient for me.

AAA has always been there for me and my family to help us through everything we need. Their rates are great, the discounts provided are like no other, and their customer service team seems like they are just happy to help. I love AAA!

Everyone always talks about the benefits of being a AAA member, but those benefits all come at an extra cost. Plus, many of the other insurance companies offer the same benefits with their policies, like roadside assistance, etc. Make sure your monthly rates are worth what you think you are getting!

I've been with AAA for almost ten years. They've been a decent company until the past couple years. I had to file a few claims, and the claims department handled them pretty well, so that's not my issue. My issue stems from the fact that I was dropped because I had too many claims in a certain amount of time (3 claims in 2.5 years). Two of the claims were not my fault whatsoever, so they really shouldn't count against me. After 10 years they dropped me because two other ... drivers decided to hit my car. Not fair. More Less

Filing a claim with AAA is like pulling teeth... They made every aspect of it so difficult, I can't even explain it. I got into an accident and it literally felt like they pulled out every string to explain why they wouldn't have to cover the cost of my car. I was injured and had to deal with these people. Then my claims adjustor was nowhere to be found when I needed him. He never answered his phone and retuned my calls days later. I'd go with another company and ... save yourself the hassle. Bad weather really took a toll on my truck, and when I went to file a claim for the severe damages, I was met with a rude claims rep. I know claims are a pain to file, but my truck was done. I couldn't drive it the damage was so bad. They were so rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. I was told it should be resolved within a month, and it took them almost three to get anything done. Hopefully I won't have to file anymore claims with them, because it ... was such a headache. More Less

I've been a happy AAA customer for 15 years. Every person in my family has AAA, from my aunts and uncles to my kids and nephews. I've recommended them to everyone for their service and great discounts. I love their roadside assistance and have used it many times in the past without any issues. I'll continue to be a devout AAA insurance policy holder as long as they stay as great as they've been. Keep providing excellent service, and people will stay with your company!

AAA is not a reliable source of auto insurance. My husband had them for many years, and out of the blue, he got a letter stating he was no longer a policy holder due to "too many claims". He's had them for 20 years and has made only three claims total, two of which were in the past year. Both were not his fault- he was hit by a drunk driver and was part of a mass bad weather collision. So apparently 20 years with a company means nothing. They'll ... just drop you like that. What's the point of having an insurance company that doesn't want to insure you??? Over the span of 5 years I've filed three claims with AAA. They ended up dropping me because I'd "filed too many claims" with them. Why do I have their insurance if I'm not going to put it to good use??? When I get hit or in an accident, am I not supposed to file a claim and just pay for the damages myself?? Why am I paying a monthly premium to do that!!

In the last 12 years, I have paid AAA around $23,000 in premiums. Last week a tree fell on my truck while I was driving. When I called to file a claim, I was told they wouldn't be covering most of the damage – why? Because the tree didn't have insurance? Starting to wonder why I do.

I have had AAA insurance since I was old enough to drive. My parents have AAA and my children are covered by them as well. When it comes to protecting the vehicles you own, you have to go with a company that has a reputation and a long history!

AAA fought for me when I needed them most! I was hit when pulling out of my driveway while on my way to work. There's a stop sign near my driveway, and the other driver blew through it without stopping. The driver must have told a completely different story to his insurance company, because initially they refused to do anything about it. AAA fought back and was able to get my claim filed quickly. My back bumper was fixed, and everything was perfect. They are a great company and they ... really care about their drivers. I couldn't be happier with AAA. More Less

I'm very satisfied with how AAA operates. I've had my auto insurance with them for 5 years now, and couldn't be happier. I've filed three separate claims, and they were all handled in the best way possible. Everything was done so quickly and efficiently. I never worried about getting my car repaired with them, or being able to get a rental. Their claims department is also great. They spoke with us and gave us all the answers to our questions. Our family would recommend AAA to any other family.

I have been with AAA for years. I love this service because of the obvious of course, the road side assistance, but also because of all the great discounts I receive. I have used them already twice this year, and I even upgraded to a premium membership. I have had AAA since I was 16 and will have this until i'm 86.

AAA is the only company that can offer you such low rates for such great coverage. I have to admit I'm somewhat of an "insurance hopper", but I'm really just looking for the best deal. The second a company jacks up my premium, I'm gone. I've been with AAA for a year and they have yet to do that. They gave me the lowest quote when I was shopping around (as I often do) and they've stuck with it.

The flexibility of plans that AAA offers is not as limited as other companies that I have dealt with. I haven't filed a claim yet, but have been very happy with the service they have provided me so far.

Although I have never owned a car in my life, I have had an AAA membership for more than 10 years, and I consider it money well spent. They offer guaranteed, convertible life insurance for members. This is a source of tremendous peace of mind, knowing that I can provide sufficient financial means to cover my final expenses without burdening family members. They also offer travel accident insurance and a health insurance supplemental policy that offers cash payments directly to you when you receive medical treatment as ... an inpatient or an outpatient. These insurance policies are an excellent complement to conventional health insurance, for not that much money. The customer service is very responsive in addition to being cooperative and friendly, and takes real ownership of each issue. AAA also provides travel related services, including hotel discounts (some of which are substantial) and an International Driving License, which is a great service. More Less

The customer service here is awful. I got into an accident and filed a claim with AAA immediately. They called my home phone, but I was at work at the time. I called them back later that day, only to leave a message on their end. I'd called numerous times, and had yet to speak with anyone. After all of this, I finally got in contact with someone. The claims guy scolded me for 'waiting so long' to get in contact with them. I explained that I'd been calling for ... over a week, but he wouldn't hear it. I'd rather spend my money with a company that cares about their paying customers, and I'll be looking elsewhere for car insurance soon. More Less

I am sincerely amazed that my insurance premium only went up $6 per month after I had a major accident. I was not at fault, but I've been in smaller accidents (that were also not my fault) and my claim has gone through the roof with other companies. I really like that I'm not paying an arm and a leg for someone else's reckless driving. AAA also handled my claim very quickly. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.

I love companies that care about customer service. Initially, I got AAA and my insurance agent wasn't the nicest guy. He wasn't mean, he just didn't know the basics of customer service (being polite, saying hello, returning calls, etc). A few months in, I was informed that my agent was gone (I suspect he was fired) and I was assigned to a new agent. This agent was so great! She was nice, polite, and retuned all of my phone calls! From this experience, I can see that AAA cares ... about their customers. I can appreciate that. More Less

I absolutely love AAA for my car insurance. I've never been treated so well by any type of insurance company, so AAA really stood out for me. I am the sole breadwinner in my family, while my husband stays home with the kids, so having my car is essential. When I was in an accident last winter, they were able to get me a rental car the very next day. I kept my rental until I got a new vehicle, AAA was with me every step of the way. AAA is your best friend when you get into an accident. I was hit on the highway and my car was completely totaled. Much to my dismay, there was no fixing it. I've had this car for years, and I wanted to just patch it up with some band aids. But no. AAA got me a rental (which I got to keep for a month!!) until I managed to find another car I liked. They handled EVERYTHING. I felt like I didn't have to lift a finger. They. Are. Amazing.

I have AAA for over 20 years. AAA office is great for free maps and tour guides. I used their Road Side Assistance once during critical hours, the mechanic were helpful and friendly. When I had my car accidents the claim were efficient with AAA.

Not only do I have AAA but their service has been so good over the many years I've had it, I increased to a higher cost policy which covers a longer range of miles. When I had an unreliable car I admit, I used them many times each year. The cost of the policy was less than one rescue would've been without them. Now I have a reliable car but travel farther and want their coverage.

I have been with AAA for both homeowner and auto insurance for 30 years. I always hear commercials about these companies the will beat my premium but nothing ever comes close. Customer service is great, claims processing is fast and efficient and the perks of registration, road service, etc. are awesome.

I have been with AAA for over 10yrs and they have been really reliable. Their service is great but you pay for what you get, it is also pretty expensive, well at least I think so. But again they have great service so it's worth it and I am a happy customer. Also being a AAA member gives you lots of discounts with other companies, like hotels and such. Call AAA and ask them about the benefits for their members.
