I'm a single mother and currently work two jobs to make ends meet, so finding an inexpensive auto insurance policy was a must. I'm a bit frugal, so nothing less with do. I got quotes from Direct Auto as well as various other insurance companies and Direct Auto was by far the least expensive. At times, they were hundreds of dollars cheaper. I've had them about a year and they haven't upped my bill yet, so I'm happy.
I don't know why I keep reading reviews about Direct Auto being so affordable! I chose them because my friends were insured by them at the time, but they really are not that good when it comes to pricing. I've since gotten lower quotes from bigger insurance companies. I also called to discuss possible discounts, but the customer service is impossible to deal with! They are extremely rude and unprofessional.
Direct Auto has a pretty good roadside assistance aspect to their insurance. I've had them for a few years and they've really come in handy when I needed them most. Especially, when you're stranded on the side of the road with your two year old screaming in the back seat. But, they are a bit on the pricey side. I don't think they are so high where I'd look for another insurance provider, but if I happened across something, I may take a look.
Direct Auto Insurance has amazing customer service. The people who you speak with when you call are incredible. I've never had any issues with them, and I actually enjoy calling in with a question. We've had them for a few years, and I honestly feel like we've developed a good, friendly relationship with them. The insurance is also inexpensive, so that's also a plus. We would recommend them to anyone.
I've found Direct Auto to be fairly expensive, even with all of their discounts. I am currently only eligible for one discount through them, for bundling multiple cars. Other than that, I haven't received any discounts based on my good driving status, and you have to be a customer of theirs for a long time before you get their "loyal customer" discount. They offer decent insurance, but it'd be great if they offered more discounts for people like me.
When my girlfriend bought her first car, I added her to my auto insurance. Because she was 19 at the time, my insurance skyrocketed. It was already fairly expensive, being that I was 21. We couldn't afford to continue paying the high rates. We got a quote from Direct Auto Insurance, and they offered reasonable rates, even though we were newer drivers. The insurance also covers a good amount, so I feel safe driving under them.
This is by far the best car insurance company for young adults. I've had them for a few years, and have recently referred my brother and sister, who are new drivers, to them. They offer great rates when other insurance companies charge young adults high rates. Hello! Young adults can't afford crazy premiums. They understand that we need good car insurance at lower rates. They're great and I'd recommend them over and over again.
I have only great things to say about Direct Auto Insurance. I applied online, which was so quick and easy, and got an instant approval. My quote was much lower than I'd seen anywhere else, so I immediately applied for a policy. It's been about a year, and they've been great so far. The customer service and insurance agents are always available when you need them. I'd recommend them for their low rates, ease of use, and customer service.
If I didn't qualify for Direct Auto's continuous insurance discount program, I probably wouldn't be insured by them today. My original premium is very expensive, but with the discount, I'm paying about $200. That's not too bad, especially since I've filed two separate claims with them in the past. I did notice a slight increase after filing these claims, but it wasn't too bad, either. I'd say, if you can get a discount through them, go for it. If not, I'd stay away.
I recently began searching for a better priced insurance option, and got a quote from Direct Auto Insurance. I wouldn't have written anything about them, but they had the highest quote! Let me just mention that my current insurance provider charges us $230 per month, which includes my boyfriend and I. My quote for Direct Auto was $350, just for myself! That's so crazy! Neither of us have had accidents, speeding tickets, etc. so this should not be so expensive.
I've had Direct Auto for my two family cars for almost five years now. They offer great coverage at great rates. They also offer deductibles on the lower end, which is great for working class families. We've filed a total of three claims within those five years, and our premium increase wasn't anything unreasonable. Direct Auto is a solid insurance company, and we will definitely be adding my daughters car when she saves up to buy one.
I'm happy with Direct Auto simply because of their low rates. I haven't had the need to file a claim yet, but I know their general customer service is pretty good. When applying, they are sure to ask a variety of questions. I'm sure this is to find the policy that fits your needs and budget the best. I can't really complain about anything considering I'm saving so much money just by having them. If they ever decide to increase their rates, I may have to browse around, though. But ...

We've had Direct for going on a little over 2 years now, we have the nicest agent ever. We had another insurance that after tornados came through our area dropped a lot of customers. Not only was our insurance cheaper now it also has better coverage, and a lower deductible. We get discounts because we have home and auto, multi car, military discount. For great service, and prices on home and auto do give them a shot, we paid over $400 a year more when we had geico for auto insurance. Usaa was around the same as the gieco policy rate with no where near the coverage. Our monthly payment is usually the same thing every month now give or take a few pennies and we have auto pay set up so it comes directly from our account, we can edit things online and our agent can be emailed right from our online account. (Not to mention) her office is less than 5 minutes from where we live, there are Direct agents in our area! God Bless!

You can't really beat Direct Auto's rates! After my husband was laid off from his job, we needed to cut some corners. Not because we wanted to, just out of sheer necessity. After we got used to eating at home more often and not going out to the movies as much, our insurance policies came next. I looked around extensively to find the best bang for my buck.
