All I did was ask if they would still insure me if I started delivery driving and they said they would get back to me on that. Then when the policy was about to renew it was cancelled because they said I was delivery driving. Not much warning but a good way for my insurance to lapse. Great customer service Geico....wait no it wasn't.
Geico is by far the worst insurance company I've come across. I was denied a claim that had proof I was innocent. They are unethical and have proven to have no integrity. Absolutely horrible!!! My boyfriend owns two cars, I drive one and he drives the other. His insurance Geico tried saying he did not have insurance when he bought the car that I drive when he obviously did as soon as he bought it since you have to have insurance to get a tag and I was 3 hours late to work because he had to get a tag, so they suspended his license. He bought it over a year ago. So he cancelled Geico immediately since they screwed him over.
I became disenchanted with my car insurance so I decided to shop around for a new one. I ended up going with Geico. It was the easiest thing I have ever done. I actually opened up my new policy without even havinng to talk to anyone. Bravo Geico!
Geico is awesome when you get in an accident. Knock on wood that it never happens, but if it does, you'd want Geico on your side. They were able to get my car towed from the intersection within an hour. Geico also got me a rental car so I wouldn't have to miss anymore work or classes. Could Geico make their insurance any easier? I've done everything online through their website and it's been so easy. I really love the app, too. I tend to lose things, especially small, square pieces of paper, but the app gives you access to your insurance ID cards and policy. I like knowing that it's all right there just in case. I also recently utilized their online scheduling tool. I filed a claim and a claims adjustor is coming tomorrow to assess my car. Awesome!

I've had Geico for years, and have been really happy with them. I few months back, I got into a very slight car accident. Nothing major, just a small scratch. I filed a claim through Geico because the other person involved in the accident insisted we both go through our insurance companies, just in case. I absolutely hate hate hate when you have to fight to get through to a live human being. When you call Geico's number, it is recording after recording AFTER RECORDING. It seems to go on forever. Maybe I'm impatient, but I really can't take it. Just give me a basic line that goes through to a receptionist or something and I'll be happy. My family recently moved and got Geico for our new car insurance. Our previous insurance provider wasn't bad, they just did not cover our new state. Friends recommended Geico, and I can see why. We had trouble converting our insurance over to the new state we lived in, but Geico's customer service was fantastic. They helped us along the way to make sure everything was complete and that we were properly insured. They were so gracious and helpful, and we are satisfied customers.
My wife and I have our autos covered by Geico, and so far so good. My wife has a habit of getting into accidents too often, eventhough she says they are never her fault. Geico hasn't let us down once!
Geico is by far the best auto insurance company I've ever had. I'm a young driver and Geico has been a reliable source of insurance for over a year. Even though I'm a young driver, Geico offers the best rates for insurance that I've found (and trust me, I did tons of research!). They've never increased my premium. They also have a nice customer service department. I'd recommend them to other young drivers who can't afford to pay high premiums.
Geico just upped my rate without any warning. I pay online and when I noticed that my bill was almost double what it was supposed to be, I called them right away. They just told me that it was a regular premium increase. A premium does not just double for no reason! With no tickets, accidents, or anything ever, that is absolutely unheard of. They will not lower it back to my original rate. Their customer service is nice, but not helpful!
Geico is awesome. I live all the way out in the country, about 45 from the nearest city. Getting assistance from insurance companies has been a pain before. Geico is so helpful. They really provide excellent customer service to all of their customers. I've called with questions about my policy, and they were able to guide me through step by step so I was able to fully understand what was involved. I want to know exactly what I'm paying for, and they completely understand that. They made everything easy to follow and easy to understand. They are an amazing group of people, and I'd highly recommend them.
In my opinion, Geico strives to make everything easier for their customers. I love love love their online payment system. It is so easy to use, and I haven't run into any problems yet. Their customer service is fantastic and they are always ready and willing whenever you need them. Their claims department is just as good as customer service. They do everything quickly and make it so easy for you. I'm happy with them and will be adding a second car to the policy soon.
Geico's website is not user friendly on certain providers. I have Firefox, and I'm unable to view my policy, make a payment, and view my ID cards. I also can barely view the website in general on my browser. You'd think that Geico, being one of the largest insurance companies in the US, would have a website that's compatible with all browsers and providers. I have to go out of my way and call them in order to made a payment. How inconvenient.
After a year of service, Geico increased my premium, upping my monthly rate by about $40. We hadn't been in any accidents, added anyone to the policy, or gotten a new car, so I wanted to dispute the increase. I contacted their customer service department and they could not help us. After they reevaluated our policy, they could not lower our premium back to what it was. I'm disappointed because they should not have rates our rates so much without any explanation.
Geico informed us that they canceled our policy 5 days after it was officially terminated. They canceled us because we "failed to make a payment" when I had called and asked if I could pay a week late due to other bills getting in the way. They said they'd make a note of it and that it was fine. This caused us to have a lapse in coverage, and we also received a fine from the state. We were already having financial difficulty and Geico really screwed us over.
Geico's customer service is through the roof! I've dealt with so many insurance companies in the past who had horrible insurance agents and customer service representatives, but Geico is different. You obviously have to take a crash course in Customer Service 101 before working here. I've never filed a claim, so I can't speak on that side of things, but they have great people there to talk to when you call. They are a great company.
I'm amazed with Geico's customer service. Luckily, I haven't yet had to file any claims, but they definitely have a great customer service department. Every time I call to ask any questions, with any concerns, etc., they are always so pleasant to speak with. If I could recommend them solely off of their customer service, I would! But they do also offer good rates for good coverage. I haven't found anyone that beats their prices.

I've had Geico for my car insurance for years. My only question is, why don't they tell you when your premium increases? I only managed to find out when I went online to pay my bill. They really should send out a memo or something, because a slight increase could really hinder a families financial situation. Other than the fact that they don't notify you for changes, Geico has been a decent insurance provider. They just need to change that one thing.

I'm very upset that Geico felt the need to take out my insurance payment before the scheduled due date. I wouldn't be so angry, but it was just really horrible timing on their part. My family was having some temporary financial issues, and it was around the time for us to pay rent. Geico took out the payment a few days before, which caused us to have to wait a few days for pay day. We were late on rent, but at least Geico got their payment.
For my daughter's 16th birthday, I took her and her sister for an extravagant shopping trip/girl's spa day. We shopped til we dropped! When we got back to the car in the mall parking lot, turns out I left my head lights on. Luckily, Geico was able to get a company out to jump my battery. Geico will use your money to fund their gecko commercials!!!!!! Take it from me! I experienced it first hand. When I got into a wreck, Geico WOULD NOT pay out for my claim! Geico has been my car insurance provider since 07' . No one beats their prices for me. They have been reliable and their customer service is friendly and to the point. I'v only had to make one claim and it was fast simple and easy for me.
What's the point of paying such low rates if you really don't have good coverage for your car? My rates with Geico are so low and I'm getting such great discounts. Awesome, right?
