The commercial jingle lyrics are “Nationwide is on your side.” The company tries to prove that with its travel insurance coverage. Nationwide spoils its customers for choice with one-time travel insurance and annual coverage policies. There are two single trip plans: Essential and Prime. Coverage offered by both single trip coverage plans is extensive, including such features as trip cancellation, emergency medical coverage, lost luggage and travel assistance, with the Prime plan offering higher coverage limits (up to $1 million). The annual plan is offered in three tiers: ... Travel Pro, Travel Plus and Travel Deluxe. The Travel Pro plan only covers incidents that occur after your trip is underway, while the Travel Plus plan adds trip cancellation and trip interruption to provide more comprehensive coverage. Both plans cover trips that either originate within the United States or which include at least one leg within the United States. Trip destinations must be at least 100 miles away from your permanent residence. Coverage is also limited to travelers age 80 and younger. More Less
