I'd had New Jersey Manufacturers for around a year when I was in a three car accident. My car was completely messed up- only extensive body work could bring it back to. Luckily, I wasn't hurt in this debacle. NJM told me I'd have to pay this huge deductible in order to get the car fixed. I didn't want to deal with them, so I did. A few months after that, I was informed that I didn't need to pay that much for a deductible, that they'd cover most of ... the costs. They then refused to refund me the difference for the damages. They are snakes who only care about their money and not their customers. More Less

This is one of those rare companies that really focuses on their customers. I've had various other insurance companies, mainly those big-named ones that have tons of commercials, advertisements, etc. I switched over to New Jersey Manufacturers at the recommendation of my boyfriend and have never looked back. Maybe because they're a smaller company and they can focus more closely on their customers, but they really are a solid-rock type of insurance company. I've only had them for a year, but they've been more than helpful to me.

New Jersey Manufacturers offers really good coverage. They are a bit on the pricey side, but I really feel like that are worth it. I've added my daughter to my policy, and even though I'm paying more, I know we are well covered. They put me at ease every time I give my daughter my car keys. I know if anything happens, they'll have my back. There have been so many instances where they've come through for us. Great company.

New Jersey Manufacturers has been a reliable company from the start. When my husband and I married, we got new insurance together for our vehicles. That was twenty years ago, and New Jersey Manufacturers is still going strong. They are extremely reliable when it comes to filing claims. Their customer service is great. Claims are handled quickly and you receive checks fast. We love them, and will continue to be loyal customers.

I was honestly upset when I moved out of the area that New Jersey Manufacturers services. I'd had them for nine years and couldn't have been happier with their auto insurance. I moved to be closer to family, but really wish I could have taken them with me. The company I have now is okay, but I miss the personal connections with the insurance agents, customer service, and the claims department. They were great, and I miss them dearly.

NJM doesn't care at all about you when you get into an accident. I was rear ended at an angle, which in turn smashed my car into a pole. I sustained some injuries (nothing life threatening, but I was in the hospital for a while). While in my hospital bed, I had to fight with my insurance company about paying for the damages and hospital bills. What kind of company wants to cut you off from paying your medical bills while you are held up in a hospital?? I'm paying ... for insurance through a company that doesn't care about helping people get well after car accidents. More Less

New Jersey Manufacturers are extremely difficult to deal with. My aunt has had them for 20 years. She is currently in my car and has stopped driving six months ago. It was around the time her car insurance through New Jersey Manufacturers was up for renewal. I contacted them to let them know we were going to cancel the policy. Months later, and we're still trying to cancel it. They continue to call us saying the payment is overdue. I've spoken with various people, and somehow, it is still not ... resolved. More Less

Is it just me, or has the service from New Jersey Manufacturers gone down hill in recent years? My parents had them for a very long time, and then I got them for my own insurance a few years back. A month ago, I was stopped at a red light when I car decided to not stop and smash into my rear. My trunk could no longer open. I went to NJM and they have been doing everything in their power to not file my claim. They keep telling me ... to contact the other drivers insurance company and "figure it out that way". Nevertheless, my claim was never resolved and I will be leaving them soon. If they cannot help me with an accident like this, what happens when something serious happens and I am injured? More Less

I'm a big fan of New Jersey Manufacturers for my car insurance. My husband and I moved for a job offer and switched to these guys. For almost ten years, they've been great to us. Every time we had to file a claim it was resolved so quickly. We received compensation for the damages and never had any issues. Their customer service is great, and the agents that handle the claims are even better.

I've had New Jersey Manufacturers for around five years now. They've been great up to this point. About three months ago I was involved in an accident, at no fault of mine, and was injured. New Jersey Manufacturers did everything in their power to NOT help me. It was almost easier dealing with the other persons insurance company than my own. It's been a few months and I still haven't been able to settle my claim.
