Testing 1 2 3 4 5 - Allstate was the first company I've had that didn't increase my premium after an accident! My boat is my baby and anything that happens to it is like a knife in the heart for me. I'd saved up for years before I got my boat at 20 and Allstate was the third insurance company I've used.
I used Allstate for a couple years and from my research they had the best response rate to paying any claims. Another bonus is that the rate was cheap.I have had Allstate for years and only filed one claim where I had a tree fall on my boat. The claim was handled promptly and I received a fair settlement.
I started using Allstate on my last boat and they beat everyones quotes. They kept premium increases minimal at my estimation even though I had two claims on the sails! Left them when I sold that boat. i'm glad they are both in the past
After my brother got into a boat accident, not at his fault, Allstate took great care of him. I'd had another company at the time and almost immediately dropped them to be insured by Allstate. I had an accident in the past and my old insurance company was a pain to deal with. I've only had Allstate for a few months now, but so far they've been good. Getting a policy was pretty simple and the policy I have is inexpensive. I like them so far.
I have been insured by Allstate for 25 years - boat only. I have compared rates to Boat US and West - much cheaper. I have no other insurance with Allstate. I have made 2 claims in the last 7 years totalling about 9k (both incidences out of my control) - none before that. No increase in premiums.
Allstate was the first company I've had that didn't increase my premium after an accident! My boat is my baby and anything that happens to it is like a knife in the heart for me. I'd saved up for years before I got my boat at 20 and Allstate was the third insurance company I've used. I've filed two claims in the four years I've been with them and my premium has not increased! They are great and I'd recommend them to all boaters out there.
I moved across country, and had to choose a new marina to keep my boat in. Allstate was my insurance provider at the time. They were good up until this point. Within two months of being in that particular marina, my boat was hit by another, and significant damage was caused. The other boat owner had crappy insurance and would barely cover a thing. I had to practically fight with Allstate in order to get a good amount of compensation, since the other guys insurance wasn't going to pay for ...
I'm a big fan of my Allstate insurance agent. I have them for both my boaters and auto insurance and can say that they've been great. I've never had to file a claim for my car, but have filed two for my boat. My agent took on my claims and fought to get me what I needed and deserved. My agent was there every step of the way and made us feel like we had someone to lean on. I'd recommend Allstate and their amazing agents.
Allstate has been a life saver. I've had them for my boat only for around 10 years. In that time, I've filed three kids. There have been no increase in my premiums and they gave me the money each time to repair the damages done to my boat. I have three kids, so I can't afford to fix something like a boat when there's an accident. The boat is a huge part of our recreational activities, and Allstate was able to get us back to doing what we love to ...
do, as quickly as possible.
I have Allstate for all of my insurance, including my boat. While vacationing with my family, I hit something in the water with the tail end. I gave them a call, while still on vacation, they settled my claim for me. I gave them the necessary information, and within a few weeks, I got compensated for the damages. I'd recommend Allstate to anyone simply because of how they treat their customers. They're great to deal with.
I've had my boat for fifteen years, and have been insured by Allstate the entire time. I never had a need to switch insurance companies, because Allstate really treats you well. I've made three claims for boating accidents and vandalism within those fifteen years, and miraculously, my premium has stayed the same. They have great customer service, and are there whenever you need them. I'd recommend them to any one, and will continue to use them as long as I have my boat.
When we relocated for my wife's job I had to get a new insurance company for my boat. The company I had before was great-they just didn't insure where we were moving. Allstate was a good choice because we had already had car insurance through them. Our insurance agent is the best thing that's happened to us. He takes care of all our claims and get's us the compensation we deserve. It's a great company to work with.
Allstate has been pretty decent for my boat coverage. I was with them for about 6 years before getting rid of my boat for good, and they were a good company. I filed a claim with them and they handled it pretty quick. They also only raised my premium twice (both very small amounts) in that 6 year time period. I ended up selling my boat when I started a family and needed money for a house, or else I would have kept Allstate. Yes, I would recommend them.
I've had Allstate for a few years now, and am pretty happy with them. I've had the same boat for years. While traveling, with my boat hitched to my truck, it was broken into at a rest stop. I was gone for less than ten minutes, and they managed to get inside and steal a few boat-related valuables. I contacted Allstate and they figured everything out for me, within a timely manner. There was no hassle, and they were very nice to speak with.
I'd had Allstate for years for my boat. They really treated me well and handled the couple claims I'd had quickly. I never had any issues with them up until a bought a new boat. At the time, they only insured my boat and I had car and homeowners insurance through another company. When I went to get a policy for my new boat, they said they couldn't cover me unless I bundled with my car and/or homeowners insurance. I explained that I had those insurance by other companies, but ...
they still would not insure me. I failed to realize this was their policy and I don't understand it.
My family moved and we kept our boat insurance with Allstate. We switched local Allstate agents. The first agent we had was absolutely amazing and so helpful. The entire office staff was incredible. Every time we called someone was there to help us. Our new agent is not the same whatsoever. He is not as attentive and fails to return our calls in a timely manner. Allstate is a good company, but the quality of service from their agents is not even across the board.
Allstate is a really good insurance company if they cover what you need. I had them for about a year but had to get a new insurance company when we moved. Our new home was closer to the coast and we were taking out our boat more often now, compared to before when it was just an occasional/vacation type thing. Allstate only covers about 100 miles off coast, and they do not cover riders. We were taking family and friends out regularly, so we needed more coverage. They were good ...
while we had them, though.
I've had Allstate for years for my boaters insurance. I've had a pretty good experience with them. That being said, I've only had to file one claim, and haven't really had to deal with them for anything else. My boat was in drive way, and a storm hit the area. A bunch of damage was done. I wasn't sure if my home insurance would cover the boat, since it was in the driveway, but Allstate covered It anyway. It was a pretty easy process, luckily.
Allstate replies to claims very quickly. I had to file one for my boat recently, and they solved my problem in no time. I thought it would be a tough process, since this was my first claim that I'd ever filed with an insurance company, but it really was easy. I received a check and was able to fix my boat damages by the end of the summer. Because of how quick and efficient Allstate was, we were able to enjoy the rest of our time on the water.
I switched my boaters insurance to Allstate last year from another popular company because we were looking to save a little money. Allstate gave us a lower quote, but that's about the only thing we were happy with. The insurance agent failed to go over everything with us and we happily signed without knowing what we were getting into. We ended up selling our boat due to financial reasons and they refused to give us any sort of refund for our policy. They were not the greatest to deal with. ...
They should have let us know that they keep a big chunk of the money if you cancel at a certain time during the policy.
If you have to file a claim with Allstate, good luck. Even though damage was caused to my boat, and it was completely covered by my insurance, it was the biggest pain dealing with them. I know insurance companies are notorious for being difficult, especially when you need them to cover the costs of damages, but come on. They seemed to avoid every inquiry I made and were extremely unhelpful. I'd go elsewhere for boat insurance.
After an accident in a marina that was out of my control, Allstate handled my claim with great professionalism. I recently switched to Allstate, because my other insurance provider hiked up my premium after a different accident (also not in my control). They settled my claim and I felt I received fair compensation in the end. I also didn't have to wait a long time in order to get everything settled. They were great to work with.
