It's very expensive to both buy and sell shares with LOYAL3. You get the worst lowest price on sell for the day and highest price on buy, again for the day. If the stock fluctuates $1 during the day you can lose as much as $100 - or an average of $50 per trade.
I give Loyal3 5-stars not because it's a great trading platform -- it's a 1-star broker at best -- but because it does perfectly what is sets out to do: create a fun, easy and fee-free way for customers to engage with their favorite brands. Like Apple products? Admire Warren Buffet? For $20 you can be a shareholder in both companies. Loyal3 has no minimum amounts and makes trading stocks as easy as buying a book on Amazon. It's not a great way to save for retirement but that's okay, ...
this is more of a game than serious trading. A game that's much more fun and lucrative than wasting your money on Candy Crush or whatever is your favorite online game.
Love the fact that I can invest in early IPO companies without any fees. But not being able to selecting anything is definitely a bummer. May be this is a good platform to just stick to your fav companies. I don't see seasoned investors switching to Level3 ditching their favorite online trading accounts, there are clearly a lot of disadvantages like batch trading, delays and no analysis tools being available. But Level3 does really well what it promises.
