Here's how Creditrepair.com works:

You sign over the power for them to write letters for you to creditors. They charge you almost $90/month. They then, SLOWLY write a couple letters a month if that . They wait another month until they get another payment and they write another letter or two. They wait another month and write another letter or two. This process could be MUCH faster if they wanted it to be. When Id get a response from a creditor, Id upload it and then nothing would be done to ... address the response. They would tell me on the phone, that the creditor is using a stall tactic, but never what they would do about it. They would just keep sending the same letter to the creditor in an endless loop. Its like robots cranking out form letters.

When the creditors don't respond to the letters. They "escalate" the letters. But not for another month or two. The creditors don't respond to those. They don't respond to these letters because they know they're being written by someone in another country who's following poor scripts and has bad english skills. They use bizarre fonts and type face in the letters that anyone writing these on their own behalf, would never use. They don't show you the letters they are writing unless you make a special request. They don't want you to see the poorly worded letters.

The business model became clear after many months of paying almost $90/month. I cancelled after many months of nothing changing because the creditors wouldn't respond to some of these letters. Now that I'm in the process of buying a house, I have 5 accounts in dispute that is affecting the underwriting during the mortgage process. The disputes credit repair put on my credit reports is significantly delaying my mortgage application and will possibly delay my closing by weeks. I would NOT recommend spending thousands on this company with this type of business model. I highly recommend you request copies of the letters being written on your behalf. Become educated. If you plan on getting a mortgage, give yourself plenty of time to get out of whatever mess this company makes of your credit reports.

BTW- If you read some of the 5 star reviews, they read like marketing lines for the company. Any guesses on how many of those 5 star reviews were generated by employees of the company? It's a known practice for companies with negative reviews to create accounts simply to write 5 star reviews and off-set the otherwise mostly negative reviews.

These guys are pretty friendly, but they're taking their sweet time with my credit. The fees are high enough, now I have to pay for you all to dilly-dally? They need to hurry it up and provide more efficient service to their paying customers, or else they won't have any more.

CreditRepair.com takes a 21st Century approach to the credit repair process. Customers receive a personalized online dashboard, which they can access on a 24/7 basis via their computers or through a Smartphone app. Users can also contact agents by telephone; agents are available from 8 a.m. to midnight on Monday through Friday; 9 am to 7 pm on Saturday and 11 am to 7 pm on Sunday. CreditRepair.com emphasizes its expertise and advanced technology as a factor to distinguish its service from its competition. That said, the services offered ... by CreditRepair.com include the usual array of challenges to inaccurate or misleading items included in a credit report. There is also ongoing credit monitoring through the TransUnion credit reporting bureau. CreditRepair.com charges $89.99 per month for its services along with a one-time charge of $12.99 to pull your initial credit report. CreditRepair.com is also careful to state that there is no guaranteed time frame for results, although several testimonials from satisfied customers are featured prominently. More Less

I have many complaints for Credit Repair.com. I think they are just way too expensive for what they offer. Paying that much, I thought I'd have A+ customer service, but no. It also took way too long for them to fix anything. I am going to put my money elsewhere and hope for the best.

I wasted too much time with this company. Their process is real generic and found out that what they were doing was easy. I was trying to get a home and the loan officer I was used refer me to a company that used lawyer, White, Jacobs. These guys are AMAZING! I did about as much research as the next guy and talked to about 10 different companies and everyone said the same things except when I got a hold of them. All I can say is that ... in 5 months they had me ready to buy my very first house! I wish I would have found them before wasting my money with these guys. I owe to everyone that is looking for a good company to refer them to www.whitejacobs.com - they even have an A+ with BBB More Less
