Low rates, flexible eligibility criteria, and great customer service. What's not to like?

We had a bad storm and a tree fell through my roof . I got all the necessary information to file my claim with USAA. Gave them 2 contractors estimates within a couple of days after incident. It is now going on 5months and i still have a hole in my roof.

I made a claim with USAA in August 2013 and my claims adjuster has done nothing. Every time I called I got a voicemail that was usually full and couldn't leave a message. In this time my house was vandalized and looks like an abandoned home. I have contacted B.B.B. to help me.

We had a hail storm and called USAA to tell them about it. I wasnt sure if i had damage or not so they sent an inpector out 2 days later. The damage was minor and i had an amount deposited in my account 3 days later. My neighbors are still waiting.

customer service reps are Americans and very helpful-Which in todays customer service industry finding both of those concepts is unheard-of.. They know exactly what I'm my question and eager to help. They always go the extra mile when ever I call.

I have had USAA home and auto insurance for seven years and have never had a problem with them. They have always answered my questions and been there when I needed them. Online tools are great and easy to use. I only spoke to customer service once in the last 2 - 3 years since I switched to them from the lizard but the service I have received was exeptional.

USAA increased my insurance by $400 so I looked through last years statement to see what was different. They had added a B coverage. I called them and told them I don't fall under this coverage. They told me it is standard in all policies from now on. So they want me to pay for insurance that I will never be able to make a claim on.

I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and we have had some very severe weather lately. I had some damage to the house and am thankful for having insurance with USAA. They were at my house surveying the same day and in 8 days my home was repaired.

I just got my renewal notice from USAA and it was $2000 more then previous year. I did not make any claims and nothing had changed that would warrant this. I called them and they told me it was due to claims that they speculated would come from North Carolina. I did not renew with them.
