Message From Chase Bank

We're proud to serve nearly half of America’s households with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing.

Zelle works with most banks so you can send and receive money in moments, with almost anyone you know. All you need is the recipient's U.S. mobile number or email to send money directly to their checking account. Your account information stays protected- you won't see the other person's bank account info, and they won't see yours.

The benefits of sending and receiving money are already in the Chase Mobile App, so there is no new app to download or extra steps to take. Just sync your contacts from your mobile phone to make it easy for friends and family to send you money. Plus, with Zelle you can split the cost of the bill, and set up future and recurring payments to almost anyone, right from the mobile app.

What we love about Chase Quickpay

Chase Quickpay is an easy way to send money to your friends quickly and without paying any fees. It works through Zelle, so your friends don’t have to bank with Chase. As long as you know their phone number or their email address, you can send money. Money you send is typically available within minutes, making Chase Quickpay one of the fastest ways to send money from your bank to a friend.

What could Chase Quickpay do better?

Chase Quickpay is a great way to send money to your friend easily, but it only works if your friend has a Zelle-enabled bank account. If they don’t bank with an institution that offers Zelle or don’t have a bank account at all, you won’t be able to use Chase Quickpay. There are also limits on how much money you can send at one time, which means that it isn’t a great choice if you’re frequently paying friends for large bills, like rent.

Chase Quickpay is only available in the United States, so you can’t send money internationally.

Chase Quickpay‘s backstory

JPMorgan Chase is an American multinational financial services company that was formed with the merger of J.P. Morgan & Co and Chase National Bank in 2000. Chase QuickPay is offered using Zelle, a person-to-person payment service created in 2017 to help bank customers easily transfer money to their friends.

The Verdict

Chase Quickpay is one of the best ways to quickly send money from your bank account to your friends. If you’re trying to pay someone back for lunch or just send a quick gift, it’s a great choice. However, transaction limits mean that you’ll want to find an alternative for larger, regular transactions like paying a roommate back for your portion of the rent.
