Established in 1998 in Medford, Oregon, People’s Bank of Commerce was formed to provide a locally-owned and managed community and business bank for Southern Oregon. During the past 20 years, People’s Bank has grown its community banking footprint to Ashland, Central Point, Grants Pass, Klamath Falls. In early 2021, the bank expanded into the Willamette Valley with the merger of Willamette Community Bank, adding branches in Lebanon, Albany and Salem.

The bank also owns Steelhead Finance, an accounts receivable factoring company headquartered in Medford. Steelhead supports the transportation industry through the United States by providing cash flow and backroom management services to carriers and freight brokers.
