I like how this card rewards you for reducing debt. so much more refreshing than the many cards I've gotten in the past that just wanted me to spend, spend, spend. I have been getting my $25 each quarter for paying more than my minimum. I actually usually pay it off.

As mentioned here by several people, B of A doesn't make it easy. They claim to have such straightforward products, but their practices are vague and murky at best and are there are many landmines to trip you up. If you are careful, however, you can take advantage of the perks, such as the cash back with this card.

I opened a B of A account to get the additional $5 each quarter you can get back, and found that it was helpful in that I was also able to link the card to the checking account for overdraft protection, which I've used. Fees did apply, but it saved me more in the long run.

This card works the best if you have a B of A checking or savings account, as you get an additional $5 rewards each quarter. This card also gives you 0% interest for the first 12 months, which is aweseome. I used it to pay off another card that wasn't so good. I'm 6 months into this and it looks like I'll get it paid off in 10 months!

As credit cards go, this one is pretty good. I always get cards with rewards programs, and I really like this rewards program. Customer support I wish I had the cash rewards version, though. I like the fact that you get $25 per quarter if you pay more than your minimum, but even better that the cash back is automatically posted to your account. I've had the experience with other such perks that they didn't post it automatically and I've had to call and ask for them to post it. ... The no annual fee is also great, and enjoyed a 0% intro rate to start. More Less

Yes, everything looks good on paper, but wait to see what B of A does when it's time to give you rewards. I've had many instances where the rewards just never came through, and when I asked they always had a alme explanation for not giving me what I earned and deserve.

No leeway or anything with this company when it comes to payments. I was late once and it triggered a change to a much higher APR. Seriously? I've been banking with them and paying on credit cards for years without incident. I make one wrong move and they totally overreact and take advantage of me.

Nice card. I wish the cash rewards were a little more generous, but as long as you follow their rules regarding paying off on time, you will get the cash rewards. Check out the rules before ou get started. Other than that, it's a pretty straightforward card that pays nice dividends in the end.

The cash back on this card is confusing and sometimes makes no sense at all. Othewise, it's a pretty good card. The APR isn't bad, providing that you are never late. If you are late, they will give you a penalty APR and a $35 fee. Fortunately, I've avoided that.

This card has been working out nicely for me. The rewards add up fairly quickly when you use the card. There is no annual fee, which is also great. I'm not thrilled with the foreign transaction fee, but rarely call overseas, anyway. Cash rewards are also good.

Not so sure about this card or company. I got it to pay down a card from another bank. I figured it would be a good idea, since this card has no annual fee, and the other did, and you get $25 every quarter if you follow certain guidelines. I was going to use that money to pay down my loan as well. I would have been better off staying with the old card! When I paid down this card, they lowered my credit limit by that amount! Who "rewards" ... you for paying off your loan by lowering your credit line? B of A! More Less

They seem to be somewhat disorganized every time I call for help. I'm not sure if they've always had that problem, but it seems to be getting worse. I am giving them 4 stars, though, because the card itself and the rewards are fantastic--whenyou can get to them!

This card has good rewards, including the cash back bonus, but B of A has the irritating habit of crediting your account right before payment is due. If you haven't used the card much, this can throw you into the positive, which means that you don't qualify for any rewards from that month. Very irritating, since one of the main reasons I got this card was to take advantage of the rewards. I shouldn't be penalized for earning rewards!

Had this card while I was living in the United States. Quite happy with it. Rates are good and prices are competitive.

I was really glad to find a "big name" bank that would give me an unsecured credit card, since my credit is just okay. I've been paying ontime and enjoying the cash rewards, and having this card has helped my credit score.

Fairly good card that has good benefits, if you don't do anything at all wrong. For instance, avoid being late at all costs and make sure you keep an eye on your account for any rewards they might give you that would make the next rewards not valid.

For a rewards card that doesn't demand that you have fabulous credit, this one works well. I got mine when my credit was a few points lower than it is now. I've since gotten another card with a little bit better interest rate, but I still use this one all of the time, because the rewards are so reliable. I usually pay them off, anyway.

Great card for someone who doesn't put all that much on credit but wants a reward. I spend about $300 a month on the card, which is $900 in three months. I always pay off more than the minimum and get back the $25 each quarter, which ends up being a nice percentage of what I spent.

Pretty good experience with this card. I never know if I'm going to get my quarterly cash reward, but it shows up sometimes. I like the fact that there is no annual fee. Do be careful not to be late on payment, as that will trigger a nasty late charge. I have been careful of that.

I'm a stickler for the rules, so I've been okay with this credit card, but I can see where some people would have difficulties. There are a lot of rules that you have to abide by exactly, or you can have a bad experience. I've managed to get my $25 cash reward each quarter, but it hasn't been easy.

The ShopSafe added benefit that you get with this card is really helpful. It protects you when you shop online. I've actually had to use it and it worked really well. I also like the fact that this card has no annual fee. That really helps it stay economical.

You've read the expert advice to always pay off your credit card balance in full every month. But sometimes life gets in the way, and there are times when you just can't manage that. But you're never late and you almost always pay more than the minimum monthly payment. The BankAmericard Better Balance Rewards Card was made for people like you. It has a low introductory APR, no annual fee and a balance transfer option with 0 percent interest for the first 12 months to let you clear ... out the balance on a high-interest card.

What's really sweet is the cash back rewards program. You can earn $25 each quarter that you make on-time payments of more than the monthly minimum for a maximum of $100 credited back to your account each year. BUT – there are also disadvantages, mostly skimpy rewards and a boatload of fees: 3 percent for balance transfers and foreign transactions, $35 late payment fee and $25 returned payment fee.

I didn't realize until I applied and got this card that the rewards programs attached to it aren't all that generous. Compared to some cards, you get only a small fraction of the money that you would with other cards. On the plus side, they do take you on if your credit is not as high as some.

B of A purposely makes things vague and confusing so you do things like I did, which was to mess up and pay a day late. I had been in the 12-month introductory period and was getting the zero percent in order to pay off some high interest credit cards I had transferred over. Well the day late triggered loss of the zero percent, and of course, that set a whole house of cards to fall over. Now I have a higher interest rate than I had before switching over! ... And I'm stuck! The hard inquiry for the card is going to make it impossible to get another zero percent deal, at least for now. More Less

I primarily got this card for the zero percent interest for the first year. I have used it as a means to pay off a couple of other credit cards that had ended up with pretty horrible interest rates after the introductory periods. I'm thinking I can get them paid off as long as things remain good at my job. The extra perks of cash rewards with this card are also cool.

If you can wade through all of the instructions regarding how to use this card and get it right the first time, you can have a good experience with this card. I've managed to get my $25 per quarter for paying more than my minimum, and I opened up a B of A account so I could get the addtional $5 per quarter, too.

I applied for this card because I'm fairly young (20) and still building my credit. I did get approved for a credit limit of $500 to start and have been pretty happy with the card. Their rules are kind of complicated for getting the cash rewards, but I think I've figured it out.

BofA has a great rewards program and limits can increased depending on usage and pay history. I would recommend this card if you can pay if off monthly. I don't pay any interest monthly but I earn rewards for travel without blackout dates. I have had this card over 10 years without any issues

I had a lot of credit issues from my past and was having trouble re-establishing my credit up until recently. Although I bank with BofA which I feel is why I was approved for a CC, they were willing to give me a chance so I can rebuild my credit. I have had no issues and when I lost my card I had a new one in less than 5 days. Their automated system has to be one of the easiest systems that I've dealt with. BofA is flexible and ... I would recommend this card to anyone looking to re-establish their credit. More Less

I have been with Bank of America for well over 20 years. I have had attempts at identity theft and my credit cards stolen. Before I was even aware of what had happened, Bank of America called me to let me know, verified the activity on my account, and waived any of the transactions I did not authorize in addition to taking care of any penalty fees because of it.

BofA is very responsive when it comes to any kind of security threat. I have had my cc # stolen a few times and BofA is very professional and resolved the issue immediately. Great cash back program as well.

I have been with Bank of America for about a year. Their rewards program is terrific, with a 10% bonus if you deposit rewards into your BofA bank account. They've also been good about raising my credit limit when requested.
