The customer service at B of A lacks a lot, unfortunately. When I called to have them explain why they seemingly randomly lowered my credit score, no one could give me a straight answer. And I say no one, because I ended up talking to about 3 people. That was frustrating in itself, considering I never got an answer.

I was paying off my high interest credit card that I transferred to this card and everything was going fine until I was late on a payment. DO NOT BE LATE. Being late triggered a bad result of me losing the zero percent and reverting to 29.99%!! The highest possible. Now I am going to lose money in interest like crazy, as this rate is much higher than the original rate.

I was hoping that after I the introductory period for this card that I was going to be getting the low interest rate from here on out, but they gave me 16%. I'm not really thrilled with that. I know it's not the highest at almost 21%, but my credit score is 765, so I figured I should get the best interest rate they have. Not so :(.

This card did what I wanted it to, which was allowed me to pay off a high interest credit card that had been dogging me for a few years. I also like the no annual fee. After the 15 month payoff period, they gave me a pretty good interest rate of 12 percent, so I'm keeping the card for other things.

In order to take full advantage of the 15 month 0% offer that this Bankd of America Visa card gives you, you must make any purchases or transfers within the first 60 days. I made the mistake of making a purchase on day 65 and it didn't fit the criteria. As a result, I had the items I originally put in prior to the 60 days on the account with the new purchase that was charged interest. Very confusing and frustrating.

Pretty nice card that gives you 15 whole billing cycles to pay off other high interest cards. Doing this saved me more than $2,000 and enabled me to pay off those old cards. I like the zero annual fees. Just keep in mind that there are 2% transfer fees, so you want to make it worth your while and get things paid off.

About the only thing I see going for this credit card is the zero percent introductory rate. Otherwise, once you use that feature, it isn't all that great of a card. There are no reward points and there is a balance transfer fee and foreign transaction fee and stiff penalties for being late. There isn't an annual fee, fortunately.

B of A isn't happy unless you do all of your banking with them. For that reason, they give you perks when you have checking/savings with them. The trouble is that you can lose all the benefits of that bonus if you have to pay fees on your checking account. Honestly, I think they get you coming and going.

Not sure what went on with this card for me. I got it several months ago and used it like I think you're supposed to. I paid off a high interest credit card and then for about 3 months I didn't use the card. Well, they lowered my credit line from the original 1500 to 500. I called and they said that since I hadn't used it, I didn't need it. How did they know I wasn't about to use it? Weird.

Yes, the zero percent interest rate for 15 months is awesome, but this is B of A, so don't forget that. I did use it to pay off a large credit sum I transferred, but they did get their 3% transfer fee and even though they say that after the promotion period they would charge between 10.99 and 20.99 percent, even though I have great credit, I got the 20.99 percent. I still had a couple of months to pay off the original amount, so that interest rate definitely ate ... into my interest savings. More Less

I would suggest using the credit limit you get to the utmost with this card during the introductory zero percent period, because if you don't they will lower your credit limit. I had read about it happening to other people and I was surprised one day to go online after having had the card for a month to find that mine had been reduced by $500. I was just about ready to use that final portion for the zero percent perk before the 60 days was up and it was ... gone! More Less

I'm a little leery of B of A credit cards, as I've had a few and the experiences were not always the best. I got this card with very little effort and got a pretty good CL of $2000, which I thought was nice. I was impressed with the fact that they have the 15 month no interest deal, as that is a really long time by industry standards. Maybe this time I'll have a better B of A experience.
