If you have large balances on credit cards with high rates, the State Farm Bank Good Neighbor Visa credit card may be a good choice. But if you are seeking any kind of rewards program you'll be very disappointed. There is no rewards program of any kind.
This is a consumer credit card targeting individuals with good credit. It is not designed for students or business use.
There are no annual fees.
There are no rewards programs for this card. The FixPay program, discontinued as of February 1, 2015, allowed cardholders the option to transfer large balances to a special low APR installment payment plan. Cardholders also receive up to 250,000 dollars in travel accident insurance, travel emergency services, fraud protection, identity theft protection and auto collision damage waiver coverage.
Foreign transactions are charged 3 percent, payable in US Dollars.
Late payments and returned payments are charged up to 35 dollars each. Balance transfers and cash advances are charged 10 dollars or 4 percent, whichever is higher.
If you can qualify for the lower APRs offered, the State Farm Good Neighbor Visa card can be a smart addition to your credit card set. But the nonexistent rewards program might put off some potential cardholders. Especially if your FICO score tends more toward the higher end of the Good scale, there are better deals out there.
