I've been a LLBean visa card holder for 6 years. I do not recommend to apply for this card for two reasons. 1) There's no satisfaction guarantee. There's no way for you to dispute online, and get a refund instantly, like what other credit card companies offer. I had to dispute a $80+ charge on my account, had to put it in writing, wait to receive a response in writing, if the merchant decline to refund, LLBean visa will not give you back a penny. 2) Frustrating dealing with Customer ... Service. I have no delinquency in my entire credit history, the credit bureau confirmed it. I have a credit score of 810+ and decent annual salary. They denied my request of credit line increase, reason of denial is delinquency too recent. I spent overall 2+ hours on the phone with them. They got confirmation from the credit report company too that I do not have delinquency. It's obvious a mistake on their end, they did not admit it, did not apologize, and could not review and reconsider their decision. I've stopped using the card, hopefully never need to deal with them again. More Less

Atrocious customer service. Apparently there are no managers or supervisors available to take complaints about poor customer service. I experienced an unknown to me hold placed on my card even after I verified the charges. I have been told twice the hold has been lifted and it was not and apparently no one can send me an e-mail verifying the hold has been lifted.

If I can spare one person the nightmare that is this card ...then I consider that a win. Their billing cycle practically guarantees you will be late even when the payment is made online. I sent in a final lump payment, a balance that was right on the website...and what do I get the following month? A bill for $2.43 The difference from that final payment and a late fee. I called to close the account and they did waive the final balance. Never again.

Horrible customer service. They keep randomly "protecting" me with fraud freezes and then you have to sit on hold for hours to tell them "yes, that IS my charge" Horrible ridiculous security "jam". Who in the world do you think believes that you have ANYONE's interest in mind?
