I have been able to get people on the phone to help me, unlike some reviews I've read, but they usually make no sense, and they contradict each other. With that being said, I almost wish they wouldn't answer the phone. I want to make sure I pay off my loan right, because I've had loans with other lenders and didn't follow the rules and paid the price. Hopefully someone will give me a straight answer some day!

I used to get loans with Ace regularly, over the past few years. I've never had any issues, and paid them off on time and in full. The application process was never a hassle, so when I moved a state over and needed some extra money, I went straight to Ace. I was declined. I asked why, and they would not (or could not) give me an answer. I explained that my previous accounts with Ace were in good standing, but they just said they couldn't change anything.

I've used Ace before for personal loans, and haven't had an issue. But about a year ago, my then-boyfriend took about a loan for about $200, and apparently, put me down as a reference. A month or so later, we ended up splitting. Even after explaining to them that we are no longer together and that I didn't see any of that money, they continuously called trying to collect their fees. I did a little research and concluded that I am not responsible for that debt, since he signed for ... it alone. Alas, after almost a year, I still receive the occasional harassing phone call that I just ignore. I wish this never happened, since I can no longer use Ace (when they were my main financial institution for years). More Less

Beware that they change their terms and conditions and ways to pay back their loan as they see fit. I paid off my first loan in installments with their installment plan. Then I went to take out another loan and to do the same, and all of the sudden I couldn't do that again. Had to wait 12 months before doing it. What? I'm totally confused.

I have no idea how I got so broke, but I did. Ace Cash Express helped me pull myself off the ground by giving me money at a reasonable interest rate that I was able to use to catch up on bills and then sit down and make a plan of action that I think will work. Thanks Ace Cash Express! You have saved my life!

First of all, there are many fraudulent companies posing as Ace, and that has given them, unfortunately, a bad name. My experience with them was okay. Customer service was mediocre and the interest was high. I did get the loan, though.
