I recently told them goodbye and i got a better rate with other company. Only thing i regret is the fact that i have spent so many years with them overpaying Progressive for I dont know what

They are terrible with customer service. Everything takes longer than u EVER imagine. they pinch every penny and don't care about customer, but they spend furtune for stupid advertising every day.

I had a break in recently and Progressive reacted quickly to get me money so I could replace things. It was really upsetting to see my apartment broken into and then to have to replace everything. I was just so glad that I got renters insurance.

DO NOT insure with this company they will not take care of your business! Horrible customer service and increasing rates all the time. Thieves is the right term to describe Progressive

Friendly customer service is great, but I base my decision about whether a company is good on if they reimburse me when I have a loss. To me that is the proof in the pudding. After I made a claim for some stolen property that disappeared from my apartment during a party, they responded quickly--with money.

I couldn't believe it when they raised my rate every renewal. If next renewal goes up again. Im looking elsewhere. I have great credit, pay my bills, and live in a decent neighborhood. There is no excuse to increase rates. They are always increasing rates!

I had a policy with them for a long time for my car but then added a renters insurance policy. Something went wrong with my billing and instead of making my bill reflect the multi-policy discount, it was even higher. It took forever for them to figure everything out and I had to call like 20 times.

They started out giving me a good rate but after I made a change to my policy they tried charging way too much. Then when I left for the surprise charges, they charged me $50 for cancellation. I will not recommend them to anybody and I am done doing business with them

I love their commercials, but I'm not so sold on their renters insurance. I am really unclear as to what exactly my policy covers, even though I asked about that, and I'm concerned that things won't be covered as I want if something happens.

I've had a policy for renters insurance for years, but never really thought I needed one. I live in a 3 story apartment building that recently caught fire. My unit wasn't damaged, but everything in it smelled like smoke. Progressive helped me replace my most valuable items.

The customer service with this place is only okay, which you'd think would not be the case considering all of the hype they have on their commercials. Anyway, I had to file a claim recently and wasn't all that pleased with how the issue was treated.

Just an okay experience with Progressive regarding my renters insurance. My biggest problem is the rate keeps creeping up and I haven't even had any claims over the five years I've had the insurance. That just doens't seem right.

Their policy seems great, but you better hope you never need them to help you with a claim. The slowest service ever! And at the time you need them the most!
