Lots of great perks attached to this card. I especially like the thank you points that really add up. They are for purchases that I make, such as restaurants and books. It really helps my little budget to not have to pay any annual fees. I am still in the introductory zero percent interest phase, but am hoping thta when it's over I get a pretty goo interest rate.

When I applied last spring for this card, I had no credit. I figured they would turn me down like some other cards had for lack of credit, but they didn't! They gave me a card with a $1000 limit, and since then I've seen my credit score jump to 700! I am really excited about this and happy I applied!

I live in a dorm with three other guys and we wanted to get a flat screen for the room. Of course, no one could come up with the money to buy one all at once, but everyone has some money each month. So I applied for this card figuring why not? I need credit anyway. I got the card with just enough on the credit limit. The zero percent for 7 months meant we got to pay for the television without any interest. Next problem is who the tv ... belongs to now that the semester is almost over. :( More Less

Like others noted here, this card gave me the opportunity to finally build my credit, and I am really grateful! I had a pretty nonexistent credit score until I got this card. Now it is getting up there and I'm not even 21 yet! I am so glad that I gave this card a try and that Citi gave me a try as a borrower!

This card is good if you want to raise your credit score. I would suggest using this card to climb the credit score ladder, as I think it definitely helps with that. I went from a nonexistent credit score to a 690 within a year of having this card, so I am really happy with it.

I an your typical nearly starving student, but I'm a finance major and I knew that I just had to get started building my credit! After doing some research, I discovered that this card has a lot of benefits, including the fact that it has helped many students build their credit. I decided to apply, and I am happy that my credit score is rising!

This card is good. It has allowed me to build credit, and just to have a credit card! However, beware of racking up too much debt initially in ordrer to get the $100 in gift cards. Within three months, you have to spend $650. I did that, but then I couldn't pay it off before the due date. They do have the zero percent for 7 months, though, and I did just barely get it paid off. Student income, you know!

I'm an international student and getting this card is really difficult. They require that you have more than two years in the U.S., which is okay, since I have four years now, but they also want you to have some credit! That's what I'm trying to do by getting this card--build credit. I recently got another card with a very low limit. I am hoping that that card helps me get this card, which has much better benefits.

Really nice card! I barely had any credit at all when I applied, but they gave me a card with a $500 credit limit. I've been really careful with it in terms of paying on time, staying at least one-third under limit and I just recently got a credit limit raise and noticed that my credit score has gone up 50 points!!

Definitely worth trying for one of these cards! Even though I'd tried several other cards and been denied, this company gave me a card! I was and am so excited. The credit limit amount is also perfect--$500. All I need and want to worry about. Now that I've got my first one, once I graduate I'm sure I'll find it a lot easier to get more.

During my sophomore year, I tried to apply for credit cards but was turned down, because of little to no credit history. Finally, this card gave me a chance, and I ran with it! I have paid on time, etc., and now have a pretty good credit score. All this in a couple of years. I'm now a senior and will be leaving school with a diploma and a good credit score!

This card has a lot of benefits. I like the $100 bonus in gift cards I got after spending the required amount. I also like the thank you points that I keep getting that I can use for gift cards. I also like how my credit score has climbed 30 points in just six months of having the card.

Nice card when you are starting out. I like that there is no annual fee, because I certainly couldn't afford a fee. The APR is okay. I'm not jumping up and own about it. The card has helped me raise my credit score quite a bit, though, which is great.
