I wish I could say something positive and be finally done with my problems with the IRS! back in 2011, I hired the firm to deal with some back tax issues&to do my amended returns for a three year period. I paid more money for the firm to do this. I had received a few intention to Levy notices&I apprised the firm&Mr. Karl Jones who was doing my taxes. They were able to stop them. He then prepared my 2010 taxes, but had me owing the ...
IRS a colossal sum! I redid the 1040 a form myself&was able to ascertain that I was entitled to a refund. I then apprised Mr. Jones that I would file the 2010 taxes myself. He prepared my amended returns&allegedly sent them to the IRS after I signed them. However, nearly three yrs passed&I hadn't heard anything from the IRS. However, via E mail, he apprised me that he had been in touch with the IRS&they were still pending. When, I attempted to contact him, I was informed that the company went out of business! I also contacted the IRS&learnt that he had never filed them! I appealed to the IRS&my appeal was denied for the three yrs had passed. He also supposedly set up an agreement plan for me with the IRS, but I also learnt that it was never set up! Does anyone know his new e mail address? Also does anyone know if there is a class action suit against this firm????? Thank You, Tom Mullins
I hired the Limon Whitaker & Morgan firm to help me with mine $12,000.00+ IRS tax debt problem. They went to work on mine IRS case immediately, and as the result I received an IRS refund of $6,115.19. They also straighten out my taxes for the last 5 years. The company very professional and highly recommended. Karl really knows what he is doing. Prior to them I had used different company's and they didn't do their job right and irs would come back to me and said that we owe ...
they $1000s++ dollars and put levy on as . Its was horrible and finely in a few month after hiring Limon Whitaker & Morgan I am debt free and even got over $6000 back from IRS. Thank you again and I am recommending you to every body I know .
In Feb 2012, I reached out to LW&M. I owed 48K in back taxes. They took the time to answer all my concerns. They also allowed me to do a payment plan & they started work on my case once the received my first installment payment; not after the balance was paid. I believe it was half down & the remaining was paid bi-weekly. That helped a lot. Because of procrastination on my end I didn't submit everything needed to move forward until June 20th. In October I received a ...
call from the IRS requesting a couple of additional items. On December 13, 2012 my Offer In Compromise was accepted by the IRS. I owed $48K and they accepted our offer of $1,200.00 (one thousand two hundred). I was so excited I just sat in my car for 5 minutes just staring at the letter. LW&M did not promise me anything but my results were wonderful. I worked with Karl who responded to all me emails during the process anytime I asked for an update. Although I might have driven him bonkers he always remained polite and professional. I chose this company after calling Blue Tax and others that I saw TV commercials. I didn't feel good about those companies so I took to the Internet and LW&M came up in a list of the 5 top tax resolution companies. I spoke with them and asked questions that I learned from the companies I saw on TV. What made me feel comfortable with LW&M is that they were not selling me a dream. They didn't guarantee anything and I didn't feel like I was being given false dreams. Those things made me feel they were an HONEST company. In addition, their rates were much less expensive then others and I honestly believe they are a better company. My contact person left the company and I was not notified until I tried to reach him. Although this worried me, the group was on top of it and had it all under control and I was right back on track. One hand knew what the other had was doing and if they didn't I would have never known - that's how professional and organized they were.
I appreciate your help. This was the best birthday and Christmas gift I could have every received - that letter saying that my $1,200.00 offer was accepted on a balance of $48,000.00. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. Not for just doing a great job but for being patient with my 101 questions and emails.
My wife and I hired Limon Whitaker & Morgan to assist us with our Federal and State IRS debt issue related to unfiled and unpaid taxes. They went to work immediately, filed our unfiled taxes, lifted the levy and negotiated a installment plan. I have been
in the customer service business for 29 years and become a pretty good judge of good customer service and this firm has been excellent to deal with. They are easy to get a hold of and both Soo and Carl have been available to answer ...
any question either my wife
or I have had.
They completely screwed up my Kentucky Offer in Settlement, asking for half of what was owed, and failed to file any offer at all for one of the two years for which I owed. The IRS just levied by bank account because according to their records no OIC was in place, and no contact had been made. I fired them last August, but I had received a number of levy notices prior to that, which I forwarded, and which they told me now to worry about.
They apparently only have one ...
certified person--Karl Jones--and he either spends too much time golfing or drinking, because what in any other professional context would have taken a week or two took him MONTHS. I hired them in February, and neither offer was filed until May.
