What Services does Wall & Associates Offer?

Wall & Associates offers its customers help with tax liens, tax levies, wage garnishments, seizures and tax penalties. It can also help with unfiled state and federal taxes.

How Does Wall & Associates Work?

As with most tax relief companies, Wall & Associates offers a free initial consultation. However, with Wall & Associates the initial interview is done face-to-face with a local tax professional, instead of over the phone. If you call Wall & Associates you get to speak with a salesperson who knows little to nothing about taxes and whose sole purpose is to get your contact details and pass them on to a tax professional in your area. The local tax professional will then assess your case and determine whether you qualify for tax relief.

What Negotiation Options Does Wall & Associates Explore?

Wall & Associates's team of CPAs and enrolled agents look into a variety of negotiation options. These include offers in compromise, release of wage and bank levies, tax settlements, penalty abatements and installment agreements.

What is Wall & Associates' Fee Schedule?

Once you've completed the initial consultation, the tax professional Wall & Associates recommended offers a quote for the tax mediation services you require. Cost varies widely depending on the complexity and size of the case. The Wall & Associates representatives we spoke to were unable to provide a fee schedule or range of fees for their tax relief services. Clients can only access this information once they have visited the offices of a tax professional. Wall & Associates does not have a refund policy but it does offer flexible payments for its consulting fees.

Which States Does Wall & Associates Operate In?

Wall & Associates has affiliate tax professionals in all 50 states.

How is Wall & Associates Better/Worse Than Other Tax Relief Companies?

Wall & Associates has been in business for over 23 years and claims to employ CPAs and enrolled agents. It even says it has a tax attorney available, if necessary. However, it does not provide the names or profiles of any of its staff.

Wall & Associates does not provide a schedule of fees or even a range of prices and does little more than forward you to a local tax professional. It has a C rating and is not accredited by the BBB. The company has 128 complaints on its BBB file. The BBB even has an alert posted on Wall & Associates' profile because of a pattern of complaints about failing to provide services within the agreed upon time. Wall & Associates does not provide details on the names and qualifications of the CPAs, enrolled agents or the tax attorney it claims to employ.

Most people are unaware of the degree of difficulty of negotiating with the IRS. Many CPA's do not even want to deal with them in this regard. Also, human nature dictates that potential clients do not fully reveal to their representing company, all of their issues: (oops, I own a corvette free and clear, and now that you mention it, I do have 3 or 4 rental properties, etc) So it is no wonder that these people whine after months of "nothing being done" - because they have ... been represented erroneously due to improper revelation themselves, the client, to their representation company.
