SPARK is a mobile online stock screener that shares trading ideas from successful traders and investors.
How Does It Work?
SPARK allows you to quickly analyze and sort through thousands of stocks – according to technical, fundamental, and sentiment data – in order to find potential winners. Spark generates sentiment data by measuring the number of users who watch or pass on stocks. Examples include 52 Week Highs, Year Over Year Earnings Growth, or Bullish on StockTwit.
Users can also obtain curated lists from some of the most successful – to to see what they’re watching – or even take a look at the current holdings of the best investors of all-time, such as Warren Buffett, Carl Icahn and George Soros.
The app allows you to mix and match your criteria to create “decks” of ideas in card form. Swipe left to “pass” and right to “watch,” which adds the stock to your watchlist. You can then share cards into your social networks with the tap of a button and get feedback on your ideas from the SPARK community.
Using Spark to spot promising stocks and Robinhood to buy them is a way to keep costs down for DIY stock market investors.
How Much Does Spark Cost?
Spark is completely free (as of October 2015) but is only available for iPhones and iPads.
