Message from U.S. Small Business Administration

SBA works to ignite change and spark action so small businesses can confidently start, grow, expand, or recover. Created in 1953, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) continues to help small business owners and entrepreneurs pursue the American dream. SBA is the only cabinet-level federal agency fully dedicated to small business and provides counseling, capital, and contracting expertise as the nation’s only go-to resource and voice for small businesses.

Start or expand your business with loans guaranteed by the Small Business Administration. Use Lender Match to find lenders that offer loans for your business. The SBA works with lenders to provide loans to small businesses. The agency doesn’t lend money directly to small business owners. Instead, it sets guidelines for loans made by its partnering lenders, community development organizations, and micro-lending institutions. The SBA reduces risk for lenders and makes it easier for them to access capital. That makes it easier for small businesses to get loans.

Review for U.S. Small Business Administration Loans

This process has been a nightmare and the people that work at the SBA are dishonest. I have lost 80% of my business and they claimed I couldn't show enough loss. They are prejudiced against white people and do not have a reasonable process for approving loans based on needs.

Review for U.S. Small Business Administration Loans

I have been approved for a loan since June 2021. The SbA ran my credit did the approval and all. Then....for a $6,800 loan, they said that was approved in June, they started repeatedly asking for the same paperwork over and over again! You can't reach the Tier 2 people because they are treated like the Pope! Its riduculous how people that don't even have a business have been given ...Show More

Review for U.S. Small Business Administration Loans

The SBA doesnt give a rats ass about small business. This is all about BIG business cronies helping each other out w government money. If you are a true small biz, like us, who had real needs because of hurricane loss- they could care less, For them its all about gouging you for profit. Typical crony capitalism.
