U.S. Bank, a major banking institution that offers everything from credit cards to auto loans to business lines of credit, announced today that it has a new rewards credit card through a partnership with Kroger Co.: the Kroger Rewards World Elite Mastercard®.
If you’re looking to open a new credit card, some of your best options are rewards credit cards. This way you can earn cash back, mile points, or even fuel points that you can cash in for discounted purchases, flights, or gasoline. Both U.S. Bank and Kroger know the appeal of these cards, which is why they partnered to offer a rewards credit card with competitive fuel and grocery rewards.
Not only can customers save big on fuel, but also they can receive cash back with every eligible net purchase and more. We think customers are going to be very excited with the extra savings and the overall value of being a cardholder,” said Kate Ward, president of Kroger Personal Finance division.
Using this credit card, you can save up to 55¢ per gallon of fuel every time you redeem 100 fuel points. In addition to fuel savings, you can also receive up to 5% cash back from mobile wallet purchases (for the first $3,000 spent) and up to 2% cash back on purchases made in Kroger stores. Kroger Rewards World Elite then allows consumers to receive 1% cash back for every other purchase where Mastercard is accepted.
As the nation’s largest traditional grocery store chain in the U.S., there’s plenty of savings to be had with the Kroger Rewards World Elite Mastercard®. However, if you’d like to compare these rewards with those of other rewards credit cards, just take a look at the list below.
