As far as filing claims go, Allied is at the top of the totem pole. I've filed claims through other companies, and they've been so reluctant to pay out. Even when I wasn't at fault, they were difficult. Allied handled my claim and gave us a fair payout for the damages. We've since added my teens new car to our policy. We are so confident in the coverage that Allied offers that we are recommending them to our entire family.
Allied Insurance has been a great insurance company. I have my two family cars and home insured through them, and they've been nothing but great to us. Our initial premium was low enough and we've been able to save up for a vacation with the leftover money. In addition, when we went to renew, our policy dropped even lower. It was only a few dollars, but that's better than nothing. If you're on a budget, Allied is a great option.
Allied offers great competitive rates for auto insurance policies. I originally got them after searching around for a better rate from my previous insurance provider. They've been able to keep my rates low, even after one filed claim. They also have great customer service, and I absolutely adore my insurance agent. They are always there for you, and never disappear when you need them most. They are the best auto insurance provider that I've found so far, and I'd highly recommend them.
I've been a happy customer of Allied Insurance for five years. They cover my auto policy, and I have nothing but good things to say about them. They offer really good coverage for what you're paying for. I've had great experiences with their customer service, and even their claims representatives are nice and helpful. I've only had to file one claim, but my premium did not go up when I did. I'm so happy with them.
I was really happy with the rate I was paying for my auto insurance up until I had to file a claim. My rate went through the roof after that and I had to get a new insurance company. I know it was my fault that I got in an accident, but doubling my rates seemed a bit excessive.
I've been with Allied for my car insurance for 15 years and they told me they are no longer going to insure me. I'm the only person on my policy and have made one claim, probably 10 years ago. I contacted them and they told me I was a high risk case. When I asked why, they really couldn't give me an answer. My premium consistently increased through out the years, and I never complained. I don't understand how they could just drop you like that, when you've been a ...
loyal customer for 15 years.
We had Allied Insurance for almost two years, when all of a sudden, we received a letter stating our auto insurance policy had been cancelled. There was no explanation written on the letter. We called our specific insurance agent, but never got a call back. A few days later, we emailed, only to get the same results. Why won't anyone contact us back about our insurance? Why was it canceled? Now we're stuck looking for a new provider, while we don't have any current coverage.
Allied will not help you if you file a claim!! They were my very first insurance company and that being said, I held them dear to my heart. But when I filed a claim, all their great customer service went out the window. I was lied to and really felt cheated. I pay for full coverage but somehow they denied my claim and wouldn't give me reasons why. My agent turned very rude during the claim and was never around when I called (supposedly!).
Allied offers pretty good insurance for the money, but if you're the kind of person that values customer service and peace of mind, I suggest you look around for another provider. They cover my family car pretty well, and my premium isn't too expensive. But, every time I've called their customer service or claims departments, I'm always met with rude, inconsiderate representatives. I may be looking around for other companies that value their paying customers.
I really love Allied's claims department. I've had Allied for my auto insurance for years, without ever having to file a claim. Just recently, I was in an accident, and filed a claim with them right away. My claim representative was great. She was very polite and thorough when explaining everything to me. I also thought I got fair compensation. They have me peace of mind, which is priceless. I'm very happy with Allied Insurance.
I had another popular car insurance company, and had been with them for ten years. When my husband and I got married, I switched over to his insurance. With the switch, I'm saving a couple hundred dollars a year. Neither of us has ever made a claim until a month ago, when we collided with another car. They were so wonderful in handling our claim. There was no stress on our end, and we really appreciated that. They were great and we'd recommend them to anyone.
My local Allied Insurance agent is amazing. We've been with her for 4 years and she's been a great asset to us every step of the way. She makes us feel extremely comfortable whenever we have to call with a question. Just recently, my husband was in an accident and she handled everything. In the blink of an eye, we had the insurance check and my husbands car was fixed. Our agent is amazing, and if all Allied Insurance agents are like her, we'd highly recommend them.
My only issue with Allied Insurance is their rates. My (ex)husband and I are going through a divorce and needless to say, my family is going through a huge transition period. On top of that, my son just got his license and I needed to add him to my insurance. Allied's rates were okay when we had two steady incomes to pay for it. But when it was just me, it was too much. I'm looking around for other quotes. Hopefully I can find something that can include my son ...
and be in my price range.
Allied Insurance has some good local agents out there. We've had Allied for 8 years and they've been great. We've moved in that time and wanted to stay with them, so we just found another local agency. The agents really can make or break the insurance experience. They've always been available for us, prompt, and professional. We've filed claims and they've been good with those, too. We're happy and we'd recommend them to you.
Allied insurance is pretty cheap, but what you get is cheap service. They're pretty good up until you need to file a claim. We've had them for three years, and a few months back, we were hit during a snow storm by another driver. We went to file our claim immediately. The next day, we were contacted and told that our claim was denied. They didn't give any reason, just that it was denied. We've since cancelled our insurance with them. They can't handle our claims, so why are we ...
still paying for them?
I was very happy with Allied's customer service, up until a year ago. I have them for my auto insurance and have never had any issues. After I filed a claim, everything changed. They became very distant and unhelpful. I went from calling regarding my policy, to not being able to speak with anyone who knew what they were doing. I got multiple different responses to my questions, and nothing straightforward. They are great to you until you need to file a claim, then they turn for the worst.
I have been covered by Allied for years - I don't see any reason to go through anyone else. Their rates are affordable, we get lots of good driver discounts, and my agent is always helpful anytime I have questions.
Allied has been our car insurance company since my husband and I got married. We decided to throw out our old insurance companies and start fresh. We were pretty happy with them until my husband was rear ended. He called Allied and they were so quiet about what they would and would not cover. My husband said it was like you had to know how claims worked in order to get a decent pay out. They hid information from us and in the end, we didn't get the full coverage ...
we thought we had.
Allied Insurance is so sketchy. I had them for my auto insurance for about a year, without an issue. I filed a claim through them, and my premium increased so much. I called to figure out exactly why my premium increase SO much, but they never gave me a straight answer. That is, after trying to reach them for two weeks. I spoke with supervisors, managers, customer service reps, claims reps..but no one can give me a straight answer.
I love my Allied insurance for various reasons. I've had them for 4 years and the first thing I love is that they are consistent. Every time I contact them they treat me the same way. That shows a solid company in my mind. They have excellent customer service and a great claims department. A claims adjuster I met with was great. During the claims process, I was guided step by step and felt completely confident. Four years down, many more to go!
My family has had Allied Insurance for 10 years for our cars. We've insured 5 different vehicles through them and have added our three teens to our policy. In the 10 years, we've only recently filed our first claim. I was the driver, and the accident was at no fault of mine. Allied Insurance refused to pay out for the damages, even though it couldn't have been more than $1,000. No matter what we did, they would not help us out.
Allied Insurance agents have very bad communication skills. I've worked with two separate agents (after moving) for my car insurance, and both agents are pretty much the same. Neither really returns my calls and I have to call back multiple times just to speak with them. Once I get through, they are great. It's just frustrating that it takes so much on my end just to get through to my own insurance agent.
I only get my insurance through independent agents because I feel like they give you the best service for your money. When my daughter turned old enough to drive, my wife and I switched our insurance because our previous company was not reliable. We only wanted the best for our little girl. Our local agent is great and is always there. He also handled a claim for my wife so quickly and we got a fair payout. My family would definitely recommend them.
I applied for an Allied policy for my car a month ago, and it has been nothing but a headache since. They kept badgering me about what resided in my household. It is just me and my two sons. They contacted me and stated that both my sons had to be added to my insurance policy. My one son is 16 and doesn't have a license yet, and the other is 21 and has his own car and car insurance. It took two weeks of me explaining to them our ...
situation until they backed off. Why would I need to insure people that aren't going to be driving my car?? I'll insure my 16 year old when he gets a license, but not before then.
Being a college student, I can easily pay insane amounts for car insurance. After searching for what seemed like forever, Allied gave me a reasonable quote. It was much, much less than other companies. They've been great in terms of not raising my premium, but the customer service needs a little work. I called to report a problem with their online bill pay system, and they were not at all helpful. Instead of trying to figure out the issue, they just told me to call them and make a payment ...
from now on.
I have every plan on renewing when it is time if Allied stays the way that they are. So far, there rates and premiums have stayed very competitive with the other car insurance companies in the area. I'm also very satisfied with how they've handled the two claims I've filed in the past couple years. Every time I am set to renew, I check the other insurance companies rates, and to this day, Allied still gives me the best prices for the coverage I want.
Allied is such an amazing company! I recently added my 17 year old daughter to my policy, and two weeks later, she was hit while parked on the street. I contacted Allied and they handled everything so fast. Less than a week later, we had a check to fix the damages. They were so professional and good to us. We weren't expecting this much, but they have really helped our family. We'd highly recommend them to families. They are affordable and extremely helpful when you get into an accident.
A claim I filed last June was handled so poorly on Allied's end. My car was severely damaged when a driver decided to make a left turn from the right lane, while I was waiting patiently to turn left. He pulled out aggressively and smashed in the passenger door. Obviously, the accident wasn't my fault, but the claims adjuster treated me like a criminal. He was so rude and condescending. I was so happy when my claim was resolved so I didn't have to deal with that guy anymore.
Allied is a little more expensive than their competitors, but I really feel like it worth it. I had one insurance company for 8 years that treated me so badly. They kept raising my rates for no reason, handled my claims poorly, and had awful customer service. I finally had to guts to switch over to Allied and the experience has been completely different. They are actually nice and handle their claims in a timely manner. I've only had them a year and a half, but they are way better ...
than my other company.
We've had Allied Insurance for about a year and out of the blue a month a go we got a letter saying they were no longer going to insure us. There was no rhyme or reason to the letter, just that we were no longer insured. We called our insurance agent twice and didn't get a call back. Then we finally emailed and he never responded that way. The last day of our insurance was only a week away from when we got the letter, so it gave us very ...
little time to get covered somewhere else.
I've been insured with Allied for many years for my auto and home policies. Their claims process is fast and seamless. Their rates are very competitive.
What can I say, I haven't had much of an issue with Allied. My broker convinced me to switch from Allstate to Allied which essentially cut my insurance bill in half! Thankfully I haven't had to deal with them regarding a claim. But the rest of the experience has been great so far.
