Ive had coverage with Farmers for 4 years and cant imagine leaving them. I have auto and home owners insurance coverage with them. I have never had a rate increase the entire time Ive been with them.

My advice to everyone is to never deal with Farmer's insurance. I had some water damage and had the worst experience ever with the adjuster. He came to my house, took a few pictures and then left. Not only did my claim get denied, but my rates went up!

My local Farmers agent saved the day when I had a problem with autopay. I guess something went awry with their system and they hadn't taken out my payment for one month. I called my agent when I noticed and she told me to come in with a check to get the autopay back going. She waived the fees that I would've had to pay to start up the autopay again. She was great through everything and I wish all insurance agents were like her.

We had automatic payments scheduled to come out of our account so that we wouldnt have to deal with sending in a check every month. Well something went wrong with THEIR system, and the only way we found out about it was when we got the cancellation notice in the mail. It's a shame that they do business this way.

Farmers is great as long as you just keep paying them and never ask for anything in return! I've had a policy with them for 8 years and never filed a claim until recently. They were rude, didn't answer my questions and left me looking for a new company.

Never had a problem with these guys in the 12 years I have been a loyal customer. The payment amounts are reasonable and they set up auto-pay on my account so I don't have to worry about sending them a monthly check. Anytime I call in they are always helpful.

We've had Farmer's since my husband and I both bought new cars about 6 years ago. We wanted to move to a better part of town with a better school district, so we bought a house probably 20 minutes away from our old one. We tried calling Farmers to switch our address but for some reason it never got switched. We spoke directly to our agent who promised he'd call us back with a confirmation that everything was switched, but he never did. This apparent unreliability is very concerning to ... us. More Less

I have always been happy with our policy but then I got rear ended and had to talk to our rep to file a claim. Eventhough the other driver admitted it was his fault and accepted full responsibility, my rep told me we would be filing joint responsibility - wait, aren't you supposed to be on my side?

My Farmers insurance agent makes my day! From day one she has been there for me and my husband for our insurance. She also has a great office staff that is so caring and helpful. Her office happens to be open a little later a few days a week and on Saturday, so it's easy for my husband or I to stop by if we need to. We've had issues with insurance office hours before, but our Farmers agent makes it convenient for us.

I was with Farmers a long time ago, but switched after getting into an accident and they raised my rates. I recently got married and my husband has Farmers and he added me to his policy. I am very happy with the service they provide to me today.

Their rates are fine and the coverage is the usual, but they really need to get some new people on the other end of the phone. Their representatives are rude and somewhat incompetant. They need better training or something.

My wife and I have been with Farmers for many years now, and don't have any plans of going anywhere else. Our agent Randy is awesome and always helpful when we have questions. Rates are great. We are happy!

Beware- Farmers will drop you like you're nothing. After over ten years with them, my wife was in a small fender bender. The truck in front of her was heavy duty and didn't have a scratch on it. The owner of the truck drove away undeterred. My wife's sedan had a slight indent. Nothing to make a fuss about. We weren't even going to file a claim, but we figured, why not. They stopped our policy because of the one claim. One claim, and you're done.

Farmer's Insurance would not pay out my claim even though I was clearly not at fault. I had two witnesses that attested the other driver smashed into me. The other driver denied that this ever happened and made up some crack pipe story about me hitting him. Even though the evidence clearly showed he hit me. The claims adjustor on my case was careless and dismissed my claim. I had to pay the damages myself.

I wish I would have started with Farmers sooner. I got the run around from my last carrier and ended up switching to Farmers because a co-worker recommended them. Best decision I've made yet!

I currently have car and renters insurance through Farmers, and I am truly a satisfied customer. I have been with them for quite some time, and have had no issues. My premiums are great, and the customer service is impeccable. Any questions or concerns I have are always addressed immediately, and any claims filed are addressed just as quickly. Definitely a good choice, if you are shopping around for insurance.

I have only been with Farmers for a short while, but so far, my experience has been great. Their customer service is fantastic and I was able to bundle my renter's, car and jewelry floater with them for a very reasonable price, while gaining additional coverage I did not have with my previous provider. Their online user experience is great and the fact I have a phone number I can use to speak directly with my agent makes it that much better.

For one of the most popular car insurance companies around, they sure have crappy customer service. They need to train their employees a little bit better and learn how not to be rude to the people paying good money!

No complaints about the auto policy we have. II just wish that when my son went off to college and was supposed to start paying for his own insurance, that they could have billed him directly instead of going through me.

I filed a claim with Farmers and it was the worst mistake I've ever made. They really are a good company until you cause a little tiff in their routine. The claims department was impossible to get a hold of, and my adjustor was even worse. They gave me a quote significantly lower than what it was going to cost to get my car fixed. My brother is a mechanic and he laughed when I told him was Farmers was going to give me. I ended up paying a big ... chunk of the difference, like my brother had predicted. More Less

Farmer's agents are so rude to you when you file a claim. The other drivers insurance company had already said they were at full fault, but my claims agent treated me like I'd done something wrong. He gave me a very generic run around and cut me off when I was speaking. I ended up getting a check for my car damages, but the experience was one I'd like to forget. If I have to file another claim, I will make sure not to get the same guy.

Farmers processed my payment incorrectly and I had to PAY for their mistake! I was charged late fees and penalties, adding up to a couple hundred dollars. By the time they actually figured out my payments and put in my bank account numbers correctly, I had had enough and wanted out. But wouldn't you know it, they wanted an early cancelation fee too!! Eventually that was dropped because I probably complained too much, but they were just too much for me to deal with!!

Farmer's really took care of us when we filed a claim with them two weeks ago. I was out with my children when we were hit by another driver. Luckily, it was just a slight bump and there were not even scratches or scrapes on us. Farmer's filed my claim and I had a check to repair the damages two days later. I never expected it to be so quick but it really was a pleasant surprise.

My parents added me onto their Farmers insurance plan last year when I got my own car. For whatever reason, Farmers can't separate the bill or give us different amounts, so we kind of have to estimate how much is each other bill. Since insurance amounts can change from month to month, it is a little difficult. We do our best and I just give the cash to my mom. Other than that, Farmers is a reliable insurance firm for us.

Farmers was a decent company until the beginning of the year. We were on their auto pay system, so our payments came out every month on the same day automatically. Because they are automatic, my wife and I didn't pay too much attention to them. Out of nowhere, my wife gets an email stating that they haven't gotten our payments and our policy was terminated. We eventually figured out what happened, but it was too late.
