I like to be up to date wherever I might be - usually on the go. Their mobile app is the best I've found, and I really like how simple they have made trading for do-it-yourselfers!

I retired from the company I'd been with for many years and with whom I had a 401(K). I rolled it over into an IRA with E*Trade and didn't have to pay as much as I'd thought I would have to. I'm happy with the results. So far so good.

I have been using E-Trade forever and love everything about this company. They make everything so easy to use and understand, I can keep up to date while traveling, and their rates are the best.

This is a great company - as long as you aren't looking for any help or advise. You really have to do your own research and studying to know how to invest your money because you wont get any help from them.

I guess I was just expecting too much, based on all they advertise. I shouldn't have had my expectations so high though because ultimately all ETrade did was disappoint me.

E*Trade is a little pricier than some in terms of fees, but the extra you pay ends up helping you in the long run, because the stocks outperform many at other brokerages. Customer service is also really helpful. I would recommend them.

One of E*Trade's best features is their software's user interface. E*Trade has excelled in this area, having won awards for the mobile apps—probably the most user-friendly app in the business.

I think E*Trade's focus on building up their mobile experience is a really smart decision. Trading on the move and doing everything else you might do is going to become more and more common. They're already ready for that trend.

I'm all about commission free investing whenever possible. So E*Trade's commission free ETFs really appealed to me. I tried them and I have to say that I'm impressed. They have performed well, and without the fees, it's pure profit.

I've been using E-Trade for a few years now and have mixed feelings about them. The desktop interface is just so dated and clunky. It's often frustrating to find what it is you're looking for. The user experience can be very unintuitive.

On the flip side they've been making huge strides with their mobile application. Definitely appear to be focusing their development efforts there. The app is on a rapid development cycle with regular improvements.

Some of my friends have shown me the interfaces their brokerages provide and I ... get a little jealous. E-Trade seems limited in regards to the data access provided. I guess they do have their pro version but you have to pay extra for access which is annoying to say the least. More Less
