Axos Bank Rewards Checking Disclosure: To earn up to a $300 bonus, you must be approved for your new Axos Bank Rewards Checking account, fund it within 30 days of account opening, and have qualifying direct deposits that total at least $7,000.00 each calendar month during the first seven (7) calendar months your account is open as well as maintain a minimum average daily balance of $15,000. The minimum balance must be achieved and maintained from September 2023 through March 2024. A cash bonus of up to $300 can be earned in the following manner during the first seven (7) statement cycles. A statement cycle is a calendar month consisting of the days your account was open during that month. Super high APY but there’s many rules you have to follow to see that rate . NO mobile check deposit And they are not insured so if your card gets stolen even though they have “fraud protection” you could have a hard time being reimbursed.

I think this is an interesting company: great fees and ability to use the card anywhere. But besides that there's little to no chance to grow your cash in the account. As a checking account, it does the job. If it did more I would recommend it more

Rewards checking accounts don't charge overdraft or nonsufficient funds fees. Transactions with them are simply declined until you enroll for a bank overdraft. Axos is really convenient! I can access it on my phone and check my balances and transactions at any time. Unlike other platforms I’ve seen, it doesn’t charge me extra fees for using a different or out-of-network ATM. I get to transact and have access to my funds at any ATM near me.
