I got an email saying I'd been approved for $150, then they lowered it to $50, they gave no reason for this, had me go thru the entire process on their buggy website, I couldn't upload docs, it was frustrating-for a $50 loan, no less-but I figured I'd work on my credit, and getting larger approvals, then AFTER I had signed loan docs they came back and said the loan had been declined, didn't give a reason.  Hours later, I received this email: "I am writing about the loan approval that we gave to you earlier today. I'm afraid that we have to rescind the loan offer due to one of our internal policies.

During your loan acceptance process, we ran a final check against our internal database and found that someone sharing your name, address, one of your phone numbers, or one of your bank accounts has an outstanding loan from Fig. Normally, this would not be an issue, but our policy is that two closely related borrowers cannot have more than one first loan at a time from Fig, and that we are not able to serve borrowers that are closely related to a delinquent borrower until the delinquent loan is resolved. As a result, we are unable to confirm your loan documents and will not be giving you a loan.

I understand that this must be frustrating given that you did sign your loan agreement and I absolutely sympathize. We weren't aware of your association with another Fig Loans borrower and would certainly have declined the loan at time of underwriting had we known. I deeply apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

This is the most uncaring, unprofessional, ridiculous thing I've ever encountered.

I was approved for a $300 loan on 7/1/21 and was sent all documentation thru email and was told I wd have to wait until 7/6 for loan to be deposited.  7/6 came and went and no deposit.
I tried to call but their phone number is fake and has ans. machine that tells you to email them and they responded by asking me to screenshot my checking acct. number and sending it ..as though they never had that information prior to approval, plus one of their reps called our bank and spoke to them to verify my acct prior to approval... and the other few responses were more requests for same or treating me as though I was a new customer applying for a diff. loan...and never owned up to their screw up and then tried to tell me to wait until 7/9 for my money.  I got fed up with the run around and contacted our lawyer and he told me to cancel all documents concerning the loan while he draws up paperwork to file against them for breach of their own contract.  I have asked for cancellation in writing be sent to me but so far no response.  They have not called nor contacted me via email.  Shameful.   

They make me scam until now I don't receive a update about my refund of my payment.This Hermel Germino the person that they want to pay me again the bank fee of Php 1105.00. Why should I have to pay it again.

Fig Loans seemed like a good company at first! I was originally denied due to my bank account not showing an insufficient amounts of direct deposit pay statements; however, I was able to email my paystubs to prove I do earn that certain amount. My job payroll system sometimes malfunction, and I have to get a manual check. Fig loans was understanding and reconsidered their decision. Less than 1 hour I was approved! My funds was in my account the next day. 

Update: 6/13/19 
Although Fig Loans did reconsidered their decision and approved my loan. I did run into a problem right before my last monthly payment. On there website it states that refinancing is an option. The rep mentioned as long as my income did not change, I'm current and have one payment left it should not be a problem to approve the refinance. Well in order to refinance their underwriters had to do another the bank verification a 2nd time around to see if my income changed. The underwriters thought different and while verifying my income through bank verification they seen I had other loans being taken out. Which I do,  because I am building my credit as stated in the beginning. When did it become a requirment that you can only have one active loan? If that is the case it needs to be stated on your website. The underwriters seen that as a "debt trap" in their words and denied my refinance. They also said I had "high interest loans which that is my business." I can see if I was in default on those other loans or my bank account was in negative standing but my spouse and I are paying those loans responsibly in a timely manner. I only wanted to refinance with Fig loans to extend the amount of time the loan is being reported on my credit report because it was only a 4 month term, and I didnt see much improvement in that short amount of time. I will be paying my last payment early so I will be done with Fig Loans. Overall I would give Fig Loans a 3 star from beginning to end just because of the misleading refinance process, 2nd bank verification and bad judgement!

Well, I was gonna give a good review until my 3rd loan was declined. I am very shocked and disappointed. I mean someone who would pay off their loan before due date would seem a good thing, but that was not the case. Anyway, the way they make their payment plans and schedules are good, and that is a reason I chose them. But, like I said right now I am not happy that I have been a loyal customer and turned down after I have paid all loans on time.

By far one of the best places to obtain a personal loan when in a jam, I would 100% recommend them to family and friends
