I was told at Branford Kia there were no prepayment penalties as we knew we didn’t want the loan for 48 months if possible, I made a triple payment one month and that month they charged over 350.00 in interest, then I looked into a pay off quote 12 months in and with the payment we made and the payoff amount it’s actually 1000.00 more then the loan! The "executive" and "escalation" team are an ABSOLUTE joke. What a disaster of company. There is not one nice thing I can say about my recent experience with them. From outright lies to never returning phone calls to basically laughing in my face... I will never ever lease another car from KIA. If I could give them zero stars, I would customer service will hang up on you when you asked to speak to a supervisor. Supervisors have a worse attitude than customer service reps. They miss appropriate payments that you requested to be made towards Principal and then have no excuse why your balance doesnt reflect it. Also additional hidden fees that they can explain.
