I really like this app. But the thing is, it only works on my iPad-not on my iPhone. I have tried numerous times to re-download the app, but it just will not open on my phone. It's a shame because it would be so much better if I could take it on the go with me. I can only get to the splash screen on my phone, nothing further. But on my iPad, I use this regularly because I feel that it is a good organizational tool. I'm not sure ...
if I'd recommend it until it gets fixed for iPhones.
The security for this app is lacking. It honestly makes me nervous having this app because all of my information is stored on here. You can't hide your personal info (such as login names and passwords to your accounts) so anyone can see. The app also doesn't update enough. Often, it will say that a payment is an outstanding balance, because it hasn't updated the information. Because of these reasons, I feel unsafe with Finovera and will be deleting my account.
Finovera is a pretty decent app, but there are a couple things they really need to fix in order for it to go to the next level. Sometimes it is a little glitchy when I go to log in, which is a little unnerving. Also, once into the app, you can easily view all of your logins and passwords for all the accounts linked to the app. This is a little nerve wracking on the users part because if anyone were to log in on your phone, they could see ...
all this information.
Finovera is a good option for those who used Manilla. After that app shut down, I got Finovera and am somewhat pleased. I love that the app let's me view my bills and then allows me to organize them. You can mark them as paid and add little notes if you want to. I do wish the user interface was a little easier to use. The app is not the most straightforward, so it is up to you to figuring it all out.
This app has serious potential but needs to be fixed before I can comfortably use it. A lot of the time I'll tap a certain command and the app will crash, causing me to close and reopen it. Also, a few of the setting screens don't have a cancel or back button, so you have to create a setting it order to get out of it (even if you don't want it). Finovera needs to work out its bugs, or else I can't even attempt to use the app anymore.
In my opinion, Finovera is unusable. On this app, you can't even save a bill's statement on your phone anywhere, in order to send it elsewhere. You'd need to use a computer and get the statement directly from the biller. Due to this inconvenience, it seems easier to just do everything over the computer or on another app. There are also tons of bugs that make the app hard to use. I feel like this app was only thought halfway through, but that's my opinion.
After the other financial/organizational app I used closed down, I looked for an alternative. Finovera is one that I downloaded when I decided to give it a shot. I think it is a pretty good alternative to the app I previously used, but there is still some room for improvement. The app is very slow, no matter how many times you reload it. Also, there are some bugs that need to be addressed. Other than that, it's good.
I had *just* signed up for Manilla and was getting used to using it when the announcement dropped that the service was ending. I was one unhappy customer. I tried Finovera based on the reviews that stated that it was a good substitute for Manilla. So far, so good. The service supports a lot of merchants, and those that it does not support can still be included as offline accounts. Finovera also allows you to store copies of valuable documents like your passport and receipts that you might ...

The Finovera website states that it is in beta, but it's kind of like how Gmail was in beta for years after everybody started using it. The software operates smoothly; you don't have to be a data geek to make it work. What's really cool is that once you set up the service you can download an archive of past bills and include all those airline rewards programs, hotel preferred programs, etc all in one place. And the price is right (free!).
Pretty much a clone of Manilla, but Finovera is still in business! It's also free and seems to have the same business model as Manilla, so I hope they can achieve the scale they need to make a profit. I particularly like how it creates pdf files of your accounts and automatically creates a backup of the last 12 months of your accounts.
Tried it as an alternative to Manilla. Got to tell you, this is an amazing app. It just does one thing and does it right. For those who looking for an alternative to Manilla, this is the best choice.
