We began on a sunny afternoon in May of 1941, during the course of a conversation at a small tavern off Notre Dame Avenue. From our humble beginnings operating out of the night watchman's office in the Main Building on the campus of the University of Notre Dame, we have grown into a national financial institution serving over 52,000 members in all 50 states and throughout the world. We believe that by providing our members with access to a full array of financial resources, combined with honest advice and education, we can provide them with financial empowerment to enrich their lives and contribute to the betterment of the communities we serve.
