Phenix Pride Federal Credit Union (Company)

We opened to serve the Phenix City Hospital employees, doctors, medical staff and technicians. Our name and membership field has changed since that day but our passion has not. We love our community and we strive to see it in it’s best financial state. Our name changed to Cobb Hospital Employees Federal Credit Union in 1979 and to Phenix Pride Federal Credit Union in 1987. Because our field of membership grew and we began serving the community of both Russell and Muscogee Counties, we felt Bridgeway Credit Union would be a better fit and in 2020, we changed our name accordingly. Bridgeway is a member-owned, democratically operated and not-for-profit organization with a volunteer board of directors from our community. We are a full service credit union. We pride ourselves on being “large enough to serve you, small enough to know you.” We promote thrift by affording our members an opportunity to accumulate their savings and to create for them a source of credit for wise and productive purposes.
