I went through with the application, they stated my credit was ok, and then out of nowhere they said it was denied claiming there are delinquent accounts in my credit, however they marketed this that as long as your credit was over 500, we were much over 500, we had the value in the house, so I feel it’s blatant discrimination, maybe race, age, but we were not dealt with ...Show More

Points HES system is quite convienent, easy and we believe the offer was fair. There are no payments for 30 years and no accruing interest AND you still own the home and your share of the built up equity. Beats a conventional second mortgage. I would do it again.

I highly recommend Point for those who it would serve. It is not for everyone, but with eyes open, careful research and understanding combined with a real need and little options, it was a great choice and the experience was great.
