I have filed my taxes on 1040.com for the last two years. I was completely satisfied with the service. In today's economy, $25 to file federal returns is a great price. State is free.

1040.COM offers many of the same features and guarantees as other tax filing sites and it is cost-effective with federal AND state returns collectively priced at $25. I've used TurboTax in the past and encountered glitches causing the same section to continually be reviewed preventing progression to file. They couldnt file my return and kept asking me to contact IRS, then i asked for a refund they say the charge is not for efile, its for their calculation. I say its a borderline scam, if they fail, they keep your money.

They've continued to improve their interface, they offer many of the same features and guarantees as other tax filing sites, and best of all - they now offer a flat-rate price of $25 for federal AND state returns. So after completing my taxes i owed money, paid the 14.95 to file, the next option is to pay my taxes off all at once.
