I'd recommend this account as a parent, especially if you bank with Capital One as well. Transferring money is seamless and it's a great way to start teaching your teen about the financial wellness. The lack of monthly fees and ease of set up makes it super accessible for teens without a steady income. Plus, everything transfers over easily to a 360 account when they get older.

We have had this account for about 6 months. The first 5 months were fine, but our son only used it a few times. I have been trying to transfer money to his account and it isn't working. I have an open case with Capital One and was told that not being able to transfer money to a Money account is a known issue with no resolution in sight. ...Show More

This was my first checking account and I was easily able to merge it into my regular 360 Checking and Savings accounts. My parents easily were able to deposit money for me and vice versa through this system.
