At first, I was not feeling them when my girlfriend opened an account with them. Their customer service was not encouraging but they have improved over time. They have great features too. No maintenance fee, and very cool online banking.

I do not recommend BBVA for any banking services. I’ve had a checking account with this company for over 2 years now and my experience with them so far has been very disheartening. They have the worst app and website, poor interest rates and highly incompetent customer service. I had to close my account.

I'm Done!! I will never ever again deal with any type of BBVA bank or any of its customer service agents. Opening online accounts seem simple until you need your credentials from BBVA. It takes days for something to post vs instant with all other banks!!!
I have never seen a bank with todays technology that cant do an instant post of a transaction or even a pending one.

Our bank went T.U., not the company itself just our branch. And the next closest was 2 states away, so we started looking for another bank.

If you sign up with the basic online checking this bank is amazing. There are no fee's and you will take comfort in knowing you are protected. When I say no fees I mean no atm fees, no minimum in your account, no monthly fees, and many more. This is a great account if you are starting out, and need something reliable.

Handling my account has always been a nightmare. Ever since I signed up with BBVA however, it hasn’t been so much of a hassle. They’ve got an efficient customer service. My personal favorite feature has be the $0 for monthly fee and ATM fee. It’s a very functional account and I’d totally recommend.

What more can you ask for from BBVA Free Checking Account than this? It is a whole package that you can't walk pass. You have to love them. You enjoy free bill pay, $0 monthly fee and nationwide ATM network to mention a few. Their exciting features can't be less appreciated. I highly recommend them.

BBVA Free Checking account is a lifesaver. You get to open the account with only $25 deposit, and everything else from there is free. There are no monthly service charges, no ATM charges, online and mobile banking is free. You can also open your account online as long as you have the necessary identification. I have been using BBVA for all my online purchases. I love them.

Asides the free billing pay and monthly fee, I particularly love the automatic saving option. It was very helpful for me in trying to exercise discipline in my spending and boost my savings. It is a safe and risk-free was to save emergency funds and access quick cash. Though I'd prefer if the minimum deposit fee was a little lower.

While having a savings account does bring in much of a return, this place is the way to park money with safety and without risk. I use it for the funds I need for emergencies or basic overhead. My experience with this bank has been very positive as they focus on personal service.

I’ve struggled with my spending, and I wanted to ensure that I still had savings. I highly recommend this because it has allowed me to create a savings account without the hassle of manually allocating my funds. Every time I have a transaction, I know that a part of it will automatically be towards my savings, which I can also quickly check through my phone.
