Good bank with a solid reputation. Not a bad interest rate on credit cards, and easy to use checking and savings accounts. They were friendly when setting up my daughter's first account.

Pretty average. My experience was mostly positive, but I did end up switching banks. The bank branches provide excellent customer service, the mobile app is simple to use, and SunTrust does not charge foreign transaction fees. However, there is a $5 foreign ATM withdrawal fee. I would not recommend this card for those who travel on a regular basis.

when I opened my sun trust checking account there was no charge for my signature advantage checking account.
But I did have a minimum of $500 collected balance there is no charge to add over draft protection to your account.
this would be the bank for you if your perks with basic checking and savings

Terrible experience. Opened an account online and that's when the problems started. I was just repeatedly told that I shouldn't have opened my account online as though I had caused the problem. don't do business with this bank.
