UNFCU is bureaucratic to the extreme! They won't consider individual circumstances and don't care about its members to the slightest! They will instead provide a canned reply to all your attempts at resolving an issue. Plain and simple, UNFCU sucks!!!

UNFCU has an exceptional customer service and everything is so easy to do with them: money transfers, loan applications, credit cards, etc. Loans have very competitive rates. Also key is that these guys are set up in such a way that they are able to manage properly a wide arrange of customers scattered all over the world (it is after all a UN Credit Union). If you're fortunate enough to qualify for the United Nations FCU, you should definitely consider joining. This credit union ranks 27th among all the 6000+ federal credit unions across the country. There are no minimum requirements to open an account and no monthly fees.
