THIS SERVE DEBIT DEPARTMENT SHOULD NOT BEAR THE RESPECTED NAME OF AMERICAN EXPRESS.    DO NOT GET THIS CARD   YOU WILL REGRET IT     MY CASE NUMBER IS 1359108 
 

DO NOT USE THEM FOR BILL PAY.  When you leave a memo on the check it doesn't show up.  If you try to view it in the transactions, it is completely gone.  GONE FOREVER.  I've spoken to their customer service, and they didn't care, and they could not help me.  Two BIG FAT THUMBS DOWN.  Use the card only as a debit card.  Don't use any of the other features.  

Horrible,Horrible, Horrible do not use. Also, Jackson Hewlett should warn customers or at least advise us correctly to read the reviews before opting into using this card. But I get that JH retains a fee from AMEx for selling the card which is horrible. 

There were unauthorized charges on my card last summer and they even snatched some of the money from my linked bank account. I've filed a dispute but gotten no refund - the folks at the customer service number were as helpful as they could be, but I'm thinking paperwork sent to P.O. box in Georgia (twice) went in the trash.

I had a account with them & there was a unauthorized transaction on my account for $175, they closed my account with no explanation, didn't try to recover funds, nor did they let me appeal the decision. When companies is like that, I feel they are part of the fraud that happens to people. I truly believe that blue bird helps criminals steal account holders money. My $175 just magically disappeared without a trace INSANE‼️ They did absolutely NOTHING to retrieve my money, DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! 

I have had an AMEX Bluebird account since the inception of the product.  I have never had any problems whatsoever with the account.  I have recommended the card to many people, especially those who are not able to obtain a regular bank account.  They have had zero problems also.  Very simple to use, understand, and manage.
