Who is the Kaiku Visa Prepaid Debit Card Designed For?
The Kaiku Visa Prepaid Card is a smart alternative to traditional bank accounts and credit cards that is making prepaid cards look cool. This card is designed for people who want the convenience of online banking and credit cards without the high rates and fees.
What Features Does Kaiku Visa Prepaid Debit Card Offer?
Kaiku provides cardholders with an extensive list of features that make it a force to be reckoned with in the usually underwhelming market of prepaid cards. Such as:
- Mobile deposit of checks
- Transfers from Amazon and PayPal
- Online Bill Pay
- $0 Fee on Allpoint ATMs. There are over 55,000 surcharge-free ATMs
- Cardholders can transfer up to $10,000 and spend up to $3,000 a day. There is a $1,500 per transaction limit and a maximum ATM withdrawal limit of $500
- Direct deposit of paychecks (also a way to waive the monthly fee)
What Are Kaiku Visa Prepaid Debit Card’s Fees?
The Kaiku Visa Prepaid Card charges two fees: a $3 monthly maintenance fee and a $1.45 out-of-network fee. That is it. There is no charge for card activation, card purchase, card replacement, card inactivity, or even for foreign transactions.
Cardholders who load cash using a third party merchant may have to pay a fee ranging from $2.95 to $4.95, but this is out of Kaiku’s control. Check with the merchant before purchasing.
Does Kaiku Visa Prepaid Debit Card Have Any Other Benefits?
Kaiku Visa Prepaid Card allows you to deposit your paycheck directly and load checks from your iPhone or Android. Cardholders can also load cash at Visa ReadyLink or withdraw cash for free at any of Allpoints surcharge-free ATMs.
How Is Kaiku Visa Prepaid Debit Card’s Better Than Other Credit Cards?
Kaiku makes online banking easy. Kaiku Visa Prepaid cardholders can send money to friends for free, pay bills online, and even deposit cash, without paying a dime. The monthly fee is easy to avoid, just load $750 a month and you’re good to go. The card is loaded with free prime features that other prepaid cards either don’t offer or only provide in exchange for hefty fees.
Having said that, Kaiku Visa Prepaid is still a prepaid card. It will not help you build your credit, and it doesn’t offer reward points or cash back.
