I bought a readycard debit card in the Miami airport.The purpose was to pay a change charge for a stand by flight. I did not get on , so Delta released the charge. The readycard has not released the pending charge, and so basically kept the money, I called about it many times, to to avail. Beware and careful using this card.

WARNING!  Do not use Ready Debit.   You will lose your money.  Ready Debit is a fraudulent operation.   I had an account with them for over four years and tolerated egregious fees and mediocre customer service.  

Suddenly, without warning they suspended my account freezing all of the money in it.   This disrupted many auto-payments that were set to debit not to mention I cannot access the money in there and it's a weekend.   The email addresses for Ready Debit  customer service listed on their web site are not working and you will get your email bounced back.  What kind of business allows bad email addresses to be presented to customers as valid?   A business that does not care about its customers that's what kind of business.   

After going through a bunch of barriers I finally got in touch with customer service.  Customer Service is located in the Philippines.  Very hard to understand them. 
 They are telling me in order to unfreeze my account I will have to provide a bunch of documents many of which I had already provided them when I opened the account.  Now, they are also asking for proof of income.   Proof of income?  Hello, this is a prepaid card where the issuer has no financial risk.    If Ready Debit had asked for this information BEFORE suspending my account without warning, I may have went along and provided them.   According to the customer service people freezing customer accounts without warning is a standard practice of Ready Debit.    I am now of opinion this tactic of freezing accounts is part of their business model and an additional profit center for them.    Yea, get people to load up their accounts with cash, then freeze their account and then make it difficult and time consuming for customers to comply with their new conditions knowing that some customers will finally give up and let Ready Debit keep their money.    STAY AWAY from Ready Debit.
