I received a mailer from RateGenius, claiming that I was "preapproved" to refinance my car at 5.25%, saving me $91 a month. Nowhere in the mailer did it say that the rate would be higher. I went online and filled out certain information, but the process seemed sketchy, so I did not enter in my social security number, nor did I provide any documents. The paperwork was straightforward and the transfer of the loan was conducted in a timely manner. I improved my credit score since I had financed my car and I was rewarded with a much lower rate. RateGenius is the real deal!!

you can use them, they'll get you approved quickly and they are very helpful, but you need to make sure you ask all the questions. you need to make sure someone tells you about all the fees that will come on the backside of whomever is taking over your loan.
