ALLSTATE INSURANCE COMPANY IS A FRAUD AND DENIES HONEST CLAIMS. MY RELATIVE WAS CHEATED BY A POORLY PAID MARTINA BEAN AN ALLSTATE INVESTIGATOR WHO WORKED RELIGIOUSLY TO DENY HIS CLAIM ALONG WITH PATRICK BLANCETT AN ADJUSTER. THE PUBLIC SHOULD AVOID BUYING ANY POLICY FROM THIS COMPANY. READ THE REVIEWS. THEY ARE VERY NEGATIVE AND TRUE.

Allstate is not paying my renter's insurance claim. They are applying limits which should not have been applied for property which was stolen out of my kia. I am currently in the process of securing an attorney to help me receive my additional payment.

I have had Allstate Renters insurance for 9 years next month ,I filed a claim on January 14th 2023 and after weeks of asking for this and that my claim was denied! Allstate offers great coverage, but is rather pricey. I used this in Boston, Massachusetts and it was a higher price than most other insurance companies in the area, but offered some of the most coverage. While it is a good bang for your buck, I would recommend looking around if you want a more affordable option.

Trying to cancel my renters insurance and the agent assigned to me kept asking me why. Super annoying, frustrating and waste of time! Just cancel the damn thing!

I got the policy as my apartment had a serious flood problem late last winter. I had another problem arise with my door locking me into my unit. Because the door and lock had to be broken completely to let us out, we were told to go find alternate housing while the manager fixed the problem the following Monday. Allstate denied my claim after i followed the instructions from there people to a tee, My adjuster had an attitude for no reason. A lot of our personal property was destroyed and Allstate gave us nothing! after providing the evidence they asked for .There own people advised me to get an attorney. Avoid doing business with this company you are not in good hands.

Horrible customer service. I ran into issues with them not cancelling a policy when I asked them, so my credit card was charged for a renewal and they would not cancel that bill.

My apartment sustained water damage due to a leaky roof. Many items in two bedrooms were damaged. Allstate was friendly until they found out that the damage was due to a build up of ice on the roof. They used this as an excuse to dismiss the claim, stating that "that happens" but we don't cover your property in this case. Now i am faced with suing my management agency ...Show More

I had fire in my building, my apartment took a severe smoke damage. I had to evacuate the place and stay in a hotel until I found a new place.
All State reimbursed me for all the lost belongings, for my grocery, eating out and the hotel.

I really like the low deductible of $250 that Allstate offers. Let's face it. If you're renting, you probably don't have a grand lying around to pay a deductible--especially after you've been broken into. I am feeling glad that I have a good insurance company and that I can pay the deductible if need be.

They have a great estimate calculator that helps you estimate the value of your belongings, which can guide you in choosing your best renters insurance policy. I would suggest using it. I did and it really helped when I had some vandalism and filed a claim.
