Omni Financial is a medium-sized tax consulting and representation company located in Bloomfield, Colorado. The firm, which also goes by Sierra Financial Services and OFS Tax Resolution, was started in 1985 and has 150 employees. The company employs tax attorneys and enrolled agents and you don't have to take its word for it. You can check their names and qualifications on its website's about us page. Omni Financial is an accredited business with the BBB and has an A+ rating.

What Services does Omni Financial Offer?

Omni Financial offers tax relief services to businesses and individuals. These services include assistance with tax penalties, liens, levies, and garnishments. Omni Financial can even provide advice on how to restructure your company to minimize tax liability. However, it will not help with unfiled state or federal tax returns.

How Does Omni Financial Work?

Omni Financial has a three-stage process when dealing with customers. First, it offers a free initial consultation to analyze whether you qualify for a tax settlement. In the second stage, tax professionals determine the best solutions for your situation and provide a quote for the services involved. In the final stage, tax professionals work on negotiating with the IRS and other tax authorities to solve your tax problems.

What Negotiation Options Does Omni Financial Explore?

Omni Financial's team of tax attorneys and enrolled agents look into a wide selection of negotiation options. These include installment agreements, tax appeals, collection appeals, and corporate restructuring.

What is Omni Financial' Fee Schedule?

Once Omni Financial determines you may qualify for tax relief, it provides a quote for the services required. The cost of representation varies depending on what tax issues you face and the size of your tax liability. To illustrate, we were quoted a retainer fee of $3,500 on a $50,000 tax liability case for one tax year. However, the quote was only an estimate. The small print clarified that additional services could be charged at an hourly rate of up to $250.

Which States Does Omni Financial Operate In?

Omni Financial has affiliate tax professionals in all 50 states.

How is Omni Financial Better/Worse Than Other Tax Relief Companies?

Omni Financial has been in business for over 18 years, works with individuals and businesses in every state and employs tax attorneys and enrolled agents. The fact it lists the names and qualifications of its tax attorneys and enrolled agents set it apart from the less reputable tax relief firms. It has an A+ rating with the BBB and only 25 complaints in the last three years.

However, Omni Financial can be expensive and does not provide a flat fee for its tax relief services. On the bright side, it does offer flexible payments. On the other hand, it does not deal with unfiled state and federal tax returns. So, if you need to file taxes to be in compliance, you will have to add the cost of a tax professional filing your taxes to your tax mediation budget.

Omni Financial was really helpful to us regarding our tax situation. It seemed to take quite a bit of time for them to resolve everything, though, that's why I'm taking off one star. But in the end, they did a good job for us. It would have been great if it was quicker, but I know these things take time. The staff was helpful and professional. In the end, we would recommend them because we got the outcome we wanted.
