Active Duty Soldiers

Active duty soldiers are members of the armed forces who are currently serving in the military on a full-time basis. Active duty soldiers are responsible for carrying out the duties and missions assigned to them by their commanding officers. This can include conducting military operations, providing security, and providing support to other military units.

Active duty soldiers are distinguished from reserve soldiers and National Guard soldiers, who serve on a part-time basis and are only called to active duty in times of war or national emergency. Active duty soldiers are also distinguished from retired soldiers, who have completed their military service and are no longer actively serving.

Being on active duty can be a demanding and challenging experience, as active duty soldiers may be required to serve in dangerous and hostile environments. They may also be required to be away from their families and loved ones for extended periods of time.
