What does Freedom Debt Relief charge?

Freedom Debt Relief settlement fees typically range from 15% of the enrolled debt up to 25% of the enrolled debt, depending on state regulations.
Debt relief fees and settlement terms can vary based on your state and individual circumstances, so it’s best to speak directly with Freedom Debt Relief for an accurate quote.

Freedom Debt Relief Disclosure: Our estimates are based on prior results, which will vary depending on your specific enrolled creditors and your individual program terms. Not all clients are able to complete their program for various reasons, including their ability to save sufficient funds. We do not guarantee that your debts will be resolved for a specific amount or percentage or within a specific period of time. We do not assume your debts, make monthly payments to creditors or provide tax, bankruptcy, accounting or legal advice or credit repair services. Our service is not available in all states, including New Jersey, and our fees may vary from state to state. Please contact a tax professional to discuss potential tax consequences of less than full balance debt resolution. Read and understand all program materials prior to enrollment. The use of debt settlement services will likely adversely affect your creditworthiness, may result in you being subject to collections or being sued by creditors or collectors and may increase the outstanding balances of your enrolled accounts due to the accrual of fees and interest. However, negotiated settlements we obtain on your behalf resolve the entire account, including all accrued fees and interest. C.P.D. Reg. No. T.S.12-03825. **This guarantee takes effect when you graduate the program—or even if you leave before graduating. When you exit the program, we’ll use the combined total of all the debts you enrolled and settled and the fees you paid to us to calculate your eligibility for a refund.

Message from Freedom Debt Relief

As America’s largest debt relief company, Freedom Debt Relief has helped hundreds of thousands of people overcome debt affordably since 2002. Unlike a loan, the program works by negotiating with your creditors to reduce your debts so you could put them behind you faster and for less than making monthly minimum payments. It all starts with a personal consultation with one of our friendly, IAPDA-Certified Debt Consultants, where we’ll customize a plan that meets your goals and your budget.

If you qualify, the Freedom Debt Relief program could help with unsecured debts you may be struggling with, such as debt from credit cards, medical bills, personal loans, and department store cards. It can’t help with federal student loan debt, mortgages, auto loan debt, utility bills, taxes, or debts from lawsuits.

Once you complete our easy enrollment process, you’ll get access to a private online Client Dashboard that gives you total visibility into the progress we’ll be making on reducing and resolving your debts. Anytime you want, you can track the status of each debt negotiation, make updates to your account, get access to helpful videos, and more. And if you ever have a question or just need someone to talk to about your program, our team of 200+ Customer Service Representatives is just a phone call away.

Since we began helping people with the debt in 2002, the Freedom Debt Relief program has served over 1 million people and settled over $20 billion in debt -- far more than any other debt relief company. We look forward to helping you with your debt, too!

I didn't know what to expect when I made the call to Freedom Debt Relief, the representative I spoke with at the time was very helpful and patient with me. After hearing the whole process my next question was how much? When I heard the full breakdown and the monthly payment, I was a bit Leary, but I was glad I made that conscious decision to go ahead and start ...Show More

Alexa was very helpful. She took the time I needed to trust the process. She also sounded like an American and that was extremely helpful. It was a good experience because of Alexa and then Cynthia Fleming answering further questions.

Brandi knew a lot about the business and I was able to understand everything. I felt very good about her answers and willing to be helpful. I have spoken to other debt relief personnel, but Freedom Debt Relief seemed to be the best one and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of t his service.

My experience is with both being misled and scammed from the beginning. No contact with creditors for over 6 months then manipulated me into their loan+ and done in 6 weeks! Multiple companies under umbrella and high settlement fees, 4.9% origination fee (non-refundable) on loan and somewhat high rate. Find them deceptive in signing people up and how its handled all the way through. No communication. ...Show More

Using FDR has been a nightmare. I was not made aware of so much vital information and was mislead on the rest. I ended up paying more than what was quoted and couldn’t get a straight answer from anyone. I would never recommend!

Easy way to get your debt under control. You'll wind up with good credit at the end, as opposed to bankruptcy. Making extra payments is key. And communicate with them. You'll get your life under control. And don't turn back! My new policy is I have two have the money in the bank. No more credit cards!!!

Great company and FDR helped me settle over $50,000! Just finished my last settlement and the loan program helped me save half on the last debt!!! Haven’t used a credit card in over 3 years and have a year left and I will be debt free from credit cards.

Misleading information was given when we signed up about how low they could settle the accounts. Actual average settlement ended up being significantly higher than any numbers quoted verbally or in writing, where we were paying >100% of the original debt after the fees charged on about 1/3 our accounts. Can't ever get a consistent answer out of anyone at their 1-800 number. No information provided about what creditors typically settle ...Show More

While it’s never easy to reconcile debt and deal with all the repercussions that follow, it’s still a much better option to go with a company that can manage it for you. You must pay and stay on top of your situation, but with FDR, they definitely make it easier. It’s not cheap. But it’s worth it.
