I received a letter stating Santander was not able to extend credit 3 weeks after I received my vehicle. I phoned Santander and eventually spoke to the 'Executive' rep. There was no apology for an obvious oversight on their part. While I explained I did not understand a letter being mailed to 3 weeks after I had my car, had signed loan papers, the rep said 'No, we did nothing wrong, we can legally send you this type of letter up to 30 days following your application for a vehicle loan. Seriously? The rep admitted their was a missing data point or document the dealership remedied on the day the loan was funded, two days after I drove off w/my new vehicle. The rep went back to that the letter was sent 'because we can send it', even though the issue (missing data or document) was resolved by the dealership immediately over 2 weeks before. Nonsensical, and short sighted on the part of Santander, and the rep ended the conversation saying I could go get a loan elsewhere. I believe I will take her up on her suggestion. Not keen on being in a loan with a company drunk on power :-) 

Santander Consumer USA is criminal company that preys upon individuals with financial challenges and subprime credit.  In 2017 they had to pay $25.9M to victims in a class action lawsuit that found them guilty of predatory loans that achieved profitable outcomes by predicting the victims would default on their loans and their vehicles repossessed and victims sued for outstanding balances.  In 2020 Santander Consumer USA was ordered to pay $550M to victims, in yet another class action lawsuit, for these continued and ongoing criminal acts.  Now here it is 2023 and Santander Consumer USA continues to practice criminal activities with intention to financially destroy the victims and their families while obviously continuing to profit regardless of the expense of the class action lawsuits.   Santander Consumer USA is a threat to the American people and the economic stability of the United States of America.  Not only does Santander Consumer USA provide financially violent, loan-shark-like, terms, payments and interest that consume 40% or more of the victims net income, Santander Consumer USA will continue to financially, and psychologically, violate the victims until there is nothing more that can be taken from them.  Victims of Santander Consumer USA are left with no resources to rebuild their lives from the financially violent and calculated attack that first wounds, then guts, then drains the blood and very lifeforce out the victim ensuring they are completely dry of anything else worth taking only to leave the skeletal remains of a once hopeful and hardworking American, human, and creature of God.  

I PAY MY CAR IN JULY, 14 2022. Until now i don't receive my, GAP INSURANCE THEY ARE DELINQUENCY STAFF PERSON OR BANK INSTITUTION. i CALL FOR MORE THAN 10 TIME , AND ONLY RECEIVED EXCUSES.

Thieves! Immoral business practices. I am making monthly loan payments on time ( never missed a payment) and every once in awhile they withdraw additional $500 payment from my bank account. My scheduled payments always show up in my account on the website but those $500 only shows after they take it. They claim that it is normal for scheduled payments to not be shown on the website. How is that legal ? In order to get a refund I have to fax them my bank statement although they can see that additional payment was withdrawn on my account. After I faxed them, nobody contacted me to let me know they received my fax and I will be getting the refund. I had to keep calling just to be told I will get refund in 30 days. They steal money and don't want to return it.
