Great website, but definitely felt like it wasn't geared towards beginners. I felt lost and overwhelmed on the platform(not saying much, seeing as I am a total beginner).

While I recommend Webull for some of its more advanced features like margin trading, I do think that the beginner is in for a slightly steep learning curve in order to really unlock the best of this site. I still recommend it because Webull allows for paper trading, which helps you see if your strategy is effective without risking real money. It doesn't have the "shiny" feel of Robinhood, but ...Show More

While Robinhood is a brokerage with comparative simplicity for stock market novices, Webull has the invaluable feature of short selling for margin accounts that is withheld for Robinhood traders. I use my Robinhood for normal stock exchanges while Webull is ideal for short selling.

I jumped on the stonks hype train during 2020. Webull has zero fees, no minimum account balance, and they gave me two free shares to a stock of my choice. The app is very easy to use and intuitive to use. overall I would highly recommend it over one of the higher more well-known brokerage firms.

My experience with other investing apps was much more superior to my experience with Webull. In my opinion, as a beginner I felt so confused. If modified correctly and perhaps they could have more success for most beginners. First impressions can sometimes be the most important encounter, sadly there was no initial success.
