About Branches of Economics
Economics is a social science that deals with the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services. It is a broad field that encompasses a number of different branches, each of which focuses on a specific area of study. Some of the main branches of economics include microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics.
Microeconomics is the study of individual economic units, such as households and firms, and how they make decisions and interact with each other in markets. It focuses on topics such as supply and demand, consumer behavior, and market competition.
