Review for First Republic Bank Classic Checking

I opened a mortgage through First Republic and had to get their Checking account. It has been a great experience with top notch customer service, easy transfers, direct deposit and my mortgage does everything automatically. 10/10 would recommend working with this bank if you can meet their requirements for income/credit score, or in the case of a mortgage, you must pay a 20% down-payment and not have a PMI.

Bad bank, does not take care of its customers, they closed bank account of shelter without any reasoning. Just a top down decision that you could not fight. Poor children were affected in a poor region of the world. Would never do business with this bank ever again

Without warning First Republic Bank announced the closing of the US bank account of the Peduli Anak Foundation who are receiving donations to rebuild the homes of underprivileged and orphaned children in Indonesia after their homes were destroyed in a series of strong earthquakes past summer.
